Edmonton, Alberta, CanadaPerfect location for a quiet stay i London
Left on 09/29/2012 for a stay in September 2012
My dad and I stayed for a week in this apartment. Vanessa was wonderful and very prompt in her replies. The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed. The tube is right next door so it was easy to get around. The grocery story is also right next door so it was very handy. I would definitely stay here again.

Ashdale, NS, CanadaThe Perfect London Location!
Left on 03/20/2012 for a stay in March 2012
The flat was plenty spacious for our family of 4, Vanessa was a star, making sure we had everything we needed. The discovery of the 'library' in the one bedroom was a pleasant surprise. Only 22 steps from Northfields Tube Station (I counted!) makes this the ideal spot for getting to/from central London via the tube and only a short ride from Heathrow. Plenty of shops, pubs closeby, a grocery store right next door, everything you need is just steps away. Check out a play at the Questor's Theatre near Ealing Common (20 mins away on the E2 bus) for an inexpensive and entertaining night out.

Phoenix, AZGreat home base in London
Left on 06/24/2011 for a stay in June 2011
Our family of four -- two adults, two teenagers -- stayed here for 10 days and really enjoyed our visit. The location right next to the Northfields station made it convenient to get into London very quickly and easily. The little Sainsbury's grocery store down the street was also very convenient and reasonably priced. The size of the apartment was just right for our family, as we didn't feel we were on top of each other. Apartment representative, Vanessa, was great to work with and very responsive. When the hair dryer died, she replaced it with another one the same day. The only issues we had were trying to figure out how to use the appliances in the kitchen -- a few more instructions would have been handy. Especially for the washer/dryer, as most of the numbers were rubbed off the dial, so we couldn't always find the right setting. The apartment is located on a very busy street, and the trains run directly behind the building, so if we kept the windows open at night, we could hear cars in the front bedroom and trains in the back bedroom. The noise was much less noticeable when the windows were kept shut. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay here again.

Myself and 3 other gal pals stayed a week in this flat. It is so convienent to the underground (less than 1/2 block) it made it super easy to tour the London sites. After long days of touring busy London, it was nice to return to a slower paced village feel. Everything needed was within walking distance of the flat including a great variety of local restaurants, grocery, atm, taxi stand, bakery, church and a park. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed staying in this apartment for our family trip to London. There was plenty of room for a family of four to spread out and was a great place to come back to after a busy day of sightseeing. It was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. Having the Underground station literally next door was sooo convenient. The neighborhood was very pleasant. I am not sure when our next trip to London will be, but this will definately be where we will want to stay.

Left on 07/28/2010 for a stay in June 2010
If you are looking for a spot quick to get to from Heathrow and also on the tube line to the city, you couldn't find a better spot. Spacious apartment with everything that could ever be required for a travelling family. Comfortable beds, lots of space on a street with lots of different restaurants to choose from should you choose not to go downtown. I would stay here again in a second.

We stayed here for 1 week with 2 adults and 2 children and we had a pleasent time in this well provided apartment. It's situated very well at Northfields Station in Ealing to start trips to Central London by Underground. There is also a bus stop in front of the flat. Shops and supermarket are nearby. If we come back to London, we will surely book 11 Dervent Yard!

I have been in the duplex apartment 11 Derwent Yard twice with a group of friends and I really can't but highly recommend it. It is a modern flat, fully equipped of anything you may need, spacious and spic and span. The lady who dealt with us, Mrs Vanessa Scales, is a wonderful reliable lady who seems to find any problem easy to solve. The flat is higly convenient as it is next to a tube station and with a bus stop just in front of it. Buses run all night. I had a wonderful stay there and I am only afraid it may not be vacant when I need it!

Left on 12/07/2009 for a stay in August 2009
Our party of four have enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. The information before booking as well as the bookingprocedure and reception on arrival by mrs. Vanessa Scales was excellent.
The apartment is not in the centre of London (we knew that before booking)but therefore affordable and the connections to the centre of Londen are good. We liked also that the apartment is located in a neigbourhood with many local little shops, estaurants and amenities. -

We had a lovely time in London also due to the fact the wright apartments felt like a home, where is was nice to come home to. The amentities were great, the location so near the underground station perfect. What we missed was a proper 5th bed, the linnen for the sofa wasn't big enough.
What would have been nice too, since we didn't have a computer with us to look it up ourselves, would have been a list of the bigger supermarkets in the area, or near tubestations in the area.
We will certainly come back to wright apartments a have already recommened it to our friends -

Durban South AfricaEVERY EXPECTATION MET!
Left on 12/03/2009 for a stay in November 2009
We originally found out about 11 Derwent Yard by flicking around on the Internet (as the apartment that we normally stay in was unavailable). We were really impressed by the website and by the extent of the facilities - but because one often expects the preview to be exaggerated, we had a family member arrange to meet with Vanessa to "inspect" the apartment and his report back was glowing. Throughout the process of enquiry and booking, we knew for sure that we were dealing with "good people". Vanessa was extremely efficient and promptly dealt with every little query we had.
When we arrived, every expectation was met. Vanessa met us exactly on time (on a Saturday) to show us around and hand over keys - and we were blown away by the apartment. Spacious, very clean, comfortable, every mod-con, warm, quiet (the triple glazing helps!)and so, so conveniently located. 50 paces to the Tube Station, shops galore, and some lovely restaurants (all within walking distance). The apartment was well serviced on a weekly basis and we had absolutely nothing to complain about. The availability of a telephone was also a great convenience. We hated to leave! And on our next visit we would be extremely disappointed if the apartment was not available!
This was our first experience of Wright Apartments and the name sums it up nicely - everything was just "Wright"! Vanessa is a star. Our thanks to her and her team.

The meet and great service on arrival was fantastic particularly as we were 2 hours late due to roadworks.
The appartment was lovely, in a good location with every thing you needed a short walk away. The patio was lovely to sit out on in the evenings.
It was clean, spacious and the kids loved the wifi.
Quibbles:
The dishwasher smelt and needed a flush with a cleaning product.
The cutlery had seen better days and the handles come off.
The tellys need upgrading.
The floor in the ensuite gets very wet when you use the shower.
These are really only very minor points but you did ask!
Whilst we were there the weather was glorious and, whilst the fans helped at night aircon would have been wonderful!Response from Wright Apartments - 11/29/2009

Left on 11/19/2009 for a stay in June 2009
I booked the apartment for my mum and other 4 relatives. Vanessa at Wright Apartments is a very nice person and she provided me with all the information and details I needed. Everything was clear and that made me trust them.
The flat was fantastic! It was spacious, absolutely clean and completely furnished. There were anything they needed and even more.
The location was perfect. Still in zone 3, 30 secs walking from the Nortfields Tube Station on the Piccadilly line. In 30-35 minutes they were in the City without changing train. Absolutely perfect!
The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I can confirm it as I've been living near South Ealing for 2 years.
There are shops and restaurants close to the flat that they had been a valid alternative when they didn't want to cook at home. Very important there is a Tesco store within a walking distance.
I can't list anything negative as they didn't find anything that disappointed or upset them. They were definitely happy and satisfied with the flat.
I will suggest Wright Apartments to friends and relatives who are planning to come to visit London and stay in a fantastic accommodation. -

This flat is so spacious and pleasant that staying in is a pleasure! Fabulously located, however, it's the perfect base for both central London and local amenities. It's always beautifully maintained and very private! Just wish I owned the place! The Carney Family
