Description from the manager
A practical one bedroom flat with a leafy garden, in a great location not far from the bright lights and big names of Knightsbridge and Chelsea. Minimum stay is 90 days.
Informal English style with white walls, cheerful fabrics and pine furniture.
One bedroom, one bathroom apartment on the lower ground floor of a period building, with a pleasant garden with paving and mature planting.
The kitchen looks out on the garden and has been cleverly planned to provide good working space and a practical dining area, with a wide counter top linking the two. It has a cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer, as well as an ant...Read more

Left on 04/01/2013 for a stay in January 2011
We stayed here in January 2011, it was cold but what a place to stay. Always warm inside. Slept well - ignore that other comment about noisy - it is London. Location great for transport to any part of the city - and even reasonable walking distance to Victoria Station. Also a great walk through the suburbs to South Kensignton and the Museums there (can also go by tube). We used the pre-arranged and pre-paid airport taxi - great way to get in fast. Connected a wireless thing to the broadband cable and we had a small wireless set up for both computers. Supermarket in the streets behind - plus several up Kings Road. Will be booking this again one day - except that I just noticed it booked out for our next trip. shame .

Carmichael CAFantastic flat adventure in London.
Left on 05/22/2012 for a stay in April 2012
The flat was everything we had hoped it would be. The right size. A location that was the best possible for us. A block to Sloan Square underground plus a block to 3 or 4 bus lines that got us to most of the places to go in London. There were excellent shops, including 3 different grocery stores. We often purchased take out dinners at M&S.; We also ate out in the area at excellent and reasonable restaurants on Eubery Street and Kings Row. The flat had everything we needed in good working order. The Telly did stop due to a change from analog and it was replaced by a new one that same day. The only downside were the stairs as they were steep and a little difficult for someone in his 70's to maneuver. Lastly Cyrle was great and accommodating when we had to leave a few days early due to a death in our family. We had a wonderful stay.

The flat was a very good value and very comfortable. Everything you would need for an extended stay. It was close to the tube, fun shops and restaurants. We loved the private garden, it was a perfect place to relax after a long day. The bedroom faced the street so it could get a bit loud at night but we got used to it. We would rent it again.

My general review would be ""perfectly fine" for our needs. The only suggestion I would make would be to recommed proper fitting bottom sheets for the bed.
Additionally we found the flat to be too warm but couldn't seem to lower the heat with the thermostat control...it is probably not functioning properly.Response from Home From Home - 03/03/2011

We loved the location, close by to the tube station, as well as the shops on King's Road. The flat was wonderful - the kitchen was spacious, there was plenty of closet space, the bed was very comfortable and the garden was beautiful!
Home From Home was extremely organized and efficient in the rental logistics. The welcoming agent was on time, knowledgable and very helpful. Kate, as well as other office personnel (at the office) were also very helpful with providing the information that we needed.
One note: The neighbor upstairs is a bit noisy and is home for the majority of each day. We utilized earplugs to sleep and that resolved the issue.Response from Home From Home - 03/03/2011
