Travelers (Mother /2 x adult daughters)
We could not have been happier both with the apartment and the communication from the Home from Home staff prior to and during our stay. Airport pickup service was fantatsic - on time and Dave was great.
Superb location right next to Holland Park (beautiful for walks etc) - 2 mins walk from Kensington High St (supermarkets, bus/ tube etc).Plenty of resturaunts / fast food options all within walking distance.
We felt very safe walk around when it was quite dark as the streets are well lit & there were plenty of people about.
Apartment was very clean, warm, plenty of room. The lift worked well and was much appreciated after sight seeing. Appreciated also the 2nd separate toilet to the one in the main bathroom.
Master bedroom - good size and great that the bed could be "unlinked" to 2 x king singles - (we planned this with the HFH staff and found it in perfect order when we arrived).
Kitchen is very well equipped (full stove, full fridge, DW, washer/dryer)with instructions for operation for all. The "welcome pack "with the laundry tabs, DW supplies etc - very efficient and appreciated. We like travellers before us also left more supplies behind for the next travllers.
Have travelled all round the world and this is the 1st place that has really felt like a "home."
Hard to do better than this apartment and HFH.

Austin, TXLoved our visit!
Left on 10/08/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We stayed at 19 Park Close for eight days, right before the Olympics and loved every minute of it. Sue Rogers was a fabulous help and was incredibly responsive to my many questions! Our ten-year old son played in Holland Park daily (the playgrounds are a 3-4 minute walk away), we jogged through the park and neighborhood daily and we all loved how close we were to the various Tube stations (we used High Street Kensington and Holland Park most often). Though the flat could use some updating (happening soon, I believe), it was clean and gave us plenty of room to stretch out. It was wonderful to bring groceries home from Waitrose and actually be able to do laundry before heading home! We actually felt like locals the week we were there. The building itself was safe and very quiet but we did hear peacocks in the morning and the Holland Park opera at night, which was lovely. One highlight of staying there is that we saw Jimmy Page twice and actually had a chat with him once (Google him if you don't know how cool that is). This is a great place to stay if you want to be in a safe, posh neighborhood that is perfectly situated and if you prefer to live more like a local than a tourist.

Park Close 19Great location at Holland Park
Left on 11/02/2011 for a stay in October 2011
Park Close (flat 19) is a great location of you want to see London but not stay in a tourist area. Several bus lines just around the corner will take you to 'The City', shopping areas, Portobello Rd and more. Study the bus system and you will be surprised to see how easy it is to get about. Less than ten minutes walk to High Street Kensington Tube station. Food shopping nearby. Flat was comfortable but remember the British kitchen is smaller and the 'washer/dryer' is different. (Use the clothes drying rack found in the closet). We already have decided to return next year and hope to be able to rent Park Close 19. Big plus - Home From Home is easy to work with. Good communications. Use their taxi service to and from the airport - quick and easy.

It was a nice experience to stay at the appartment. Quiet, with enough space, well equipped, with pleasant views and good location, it became our comfortable spot in London. There are enough shopping resourses for food and else around and the kind welcome of Cyrill was a plus.
