We stayed at The Mansions in November 2012. It was absolutely the perfect spot for us. We had a group of 5 adults and this place was everything we hoped. It was easy to reach from Heathrow with the Underground just minutes away. It was also nice because they accepted a reservation for less than a week which so many places in London do not.
The apartment itself was large with everything we needed including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Three large bedrooms, living room with dining area and a kitchen. Two really nice bathrooms. It was wonderful to be able to get up in the morning and meet in the Living Room for the morning cup of tea or coffee before heading out for the day.
The staff were great to work with. I called to confirm the reservation before we left the States and the person on the phone was so helpful. When we arrived the gentleman who checked us in was great - he showed us around the place and gave us the local business information. Ruth checked us out when we left and was great at answering questions we had about future visits.
I will recommend this place to friends and family and will certainly be staying again! -

Rented this flat for a vacation with our 1 and 3 year old and my parents. It was the perfect flat for us. Very comfortable large living room with welcoming funky decor. Bedrooms are small, as expected for London, but comfortable. My son especially loved his room with the bunk beds and play loft. Nice baby cot provided for my daughter. The apartment has a great collection of books, even for kids, and some nice toys for the kids to play with as well. Kitchen was very well equipted. Bathroom was nice. Even though the flat is on the basement level, there is lots of light. It is one flight of stairs down, with no lift. The location was perfect, less than a block to the tube and buses downtown. Neighborhood was great. On a general London note, I was not sure of London as a destination with small children but it was fabulous; so much to do and easy to get around. Will rent here again if we are lucky enough for a return trip.

We have stayed at The Mansions in South Kensington (Earls Court Tube stop) twice. Both times we have been thoroughly impressed with the management, spaciousness and overall comfort of the accommodations. The location is ideal with markets, family friendly restaurants within sight! Having the ability to make your own breakfast, let the kids have their own space and stretch your legs and relax after a long day of sight seeing or shopping is well worth the reasonable prices! We will return - again!
