This truly stunning, bright & very spacious 270sq m (2900sq ft) apartment is part of the famous 'Prices Candle Factory' which has that warehouse feel from the outside & takes the top 3 floors (6th,7th & 8th) has fantastic far reaching views over London including some river views. It benefits from a private elevator entrance and secure undercover parking. This Apartment is located a few yards from the River Thames and has River walks to bars and restaurants. The property has been furnished to a high standard and consists of 4 double bedrooms which all have a bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have double sofa beds and the remaining 2 bedrooms have... single sofa beds so we can cater for upto 14 people. Large kitchen/dining room, very light spacious lounge with great views, a sun lounge conservatory leading on to a very large terrace with table & chairs perfect for relaxing outside. There is also a 2nd terrace on the 7th floor. This truly is a great light & spacious vacation rental perfect for families, friends & couples alike.

Located just yards from the River Thames this 2400sq ft Penthouse Apartment with an additional 500 sq ft of outdoor terraces is ideally situated for access to central London with The Kings Road, Chelsea being only a bus ride or a 15-20 minute minute walk away. A bus stops right outside to take you to Victoria station within 15 minutes. There are a few train stations within walking distance of the property with the main one being Clapham Junction which will give you fast connection to all parts of London. Also within walking distance of this lovely apartment along the river are some lovely restaurants and cafes perfect for dinner or drinks when not exploring what the bright lights have to offer!! The famous Battersea Park is a short walk away where unique bikes and boats alike can be hired for a fun days activity with the family followed by a snack in the cafe on the lake. A perfect base to explore London, stroll down by the River and enjoy relaxing on one of the roof terraces.

Location: This property is an excellent base to explore London & Beyond. There are bus routes into central London & theatre land. Clapham Junction train Station which is only 0.4 miles away and 10 minutes walk is one of the busiest stations in the UK & has direct routes into London and the excellent underground service we have here. If you prefer a walk you are only 10 Minutes from Battersea Park which has a boating lake, bicycle rental, small Zoo and an athletics track all on the banks of the Thames. A 20 minute walk and you can be in the famous Kings Road with its many restaurants, shops & antiques market. Just moments from the penthouse. We are also next to London's only Heliport. Here you can charter a helicopter to anywhere in the country and return back to your base within moments of landing. This penthouse has fantastic living space & great views across London to The London Eye & The Houses of Parliament, etc.

We don't mind if people want to smoke on the terrace but do not allow smoking inside the property. As the property is on 3 floors elderly people may find it difficult although bedrooms are on the first floor. The step coming into the building is quite high and therefore difficult for wheelchair access. There is a lift that takes you directly to the property and although the ground floor is OK for wheelchair access the property is on three levels so therefore will not work if unaccompanied. There are 2 roof terraces on this property. There is an exit to the outside on every floor so the views are excellent and it really has that wow factor. it is in an area of London called Battersea, SW11 and has everything to hand from open air spaces to public swimming pools etc. The science & natural history museums are in Kensington which is 10 mins in a taxi or a 35 minute walk. you can buy travel cards that will allow you to travel to all parts of London on buses and tube for one price.

Additional services: We have the facility to cater for whatever you need. We can organize a chauffeur to look after you while you are here. We can even arrange for you to arrive by Helicopter. The Penthouse is in Battersea which is in zone 2. its just across the river from Kensington & Chelsea. The transport links are excellent & you can be in the heart of London within 15 minutes. There are Shops,pubs,restaurants,Parks,Riverfront Pub/Restaurant all within walking distance 3-10 minutes away. A fantastic base to explore London & come back to relax on one of the terraces that This huge Penthouse has to offer. The buses into central London run every 10 minutes and stop right outside the Penthouse...its the best way to see London....so much better than the underground where you see nothing !

There is a cleaning charge of £145 to cover bedlinen,towels & cleaning after vacating the Penthouse.
Rates are for 6 people. Over 6-10 people cleaning will be charged at £195 10-16 people will be charged at £250
Additional people are charged at £25 per night Mon to Thurs. Fri - Sun is £30 pppn
Extra people are charged for the whole duration, we cant have extra people just for part of the stay.
No Parties,gatherings,filming permitted unless written permission given by owner.

ALL RATES ARE FOR 6 PEOPLE BUT WE CAN ACCOMMODATE UPTO 16 PEOPLE SEE EXTRA COSTS ABOVE.
Want to arrive in style.....We can organise arrival by Helicopter.

  I loved this place.Much more than the pictures show.
  Easy to take the bus, very quiet and the apart is charming, the kitchen complete, the rooms and beds are perfects, very good places to eat nearby or demand by phone to eat home.
  Robert, the owner is always helping for any problem and doubts.

  Traveled to London with a group of students and we were looking for a place big enough for 10 people. This place is perfect for a large group. Even with 10 people it didn't feel crowded.
  The owner arranged for convenient and cheep pickup and drop off from the airport. Loved the great view from the penthouse!

  It really is stunning!

  My friends and I organised a wonderful weekend in London and we had such an amazing time and this was hugely down to the fantastic accommodation that we had. Believe me when I say the pictures do not do it justice. The amazing space and views this penthouse has to offer are outstanding. We were a large group yet did not feel like it with all the space to absorb us. Robert and his wife were friendly and helpful and the pre and post customer service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this rental and I for one will be looking for the next excuse to hire it! May I also recommend Tom's Kitchen which is a short taxi ride away and we all enjoyed a beautiful evening meal!

  A group of friends and I traveled to London for a wedding on the River Thames and this flat served as a great base for our adventures. The flat was very large, very bright, very clean, and very comfortable. Robert was extremely generous with assisting on organizing car rides to and from the airport for all of our different arrivals and departures. We were very happy with the price and know that we would have paid a small fortune to have all stayed in hotels. It was nice enjoying coffee and conversation on the terrace in the mornings. Great place, great experience, great owner.

  Amazing apartment - Great Place to Stay!!

  I was travelling to London for a seminar, and we decided that I, my wife, our 6 year old daughter, and my mother-in-law would all go too. We came from Canada, and we were met by the driver at Gatwick airport. He drove us to the apartment (about 45min drive) and we were greeted with a very warm welcome by Robert, the owner. He gave us a tour, and showed us around, as well as presented us with a very nice welcome package to get us started. The apartment is gorgeous, and exceeded or expectations. It was clean, comfortable, and extremely spacious. The bedrooms are huge, and the beds are very comfortable. They are true queen beds!! There are plenty of amenities around the location, and a quick 5 minute walk or 2 minute bus ride to "Clapham Junction" station. From here you can get almost anywhere you want to go. It is only 10 minutes by train to Victoria Station, and trains come nearly every 4 minutes. There is also a bus stop just steps out the door and about a 5-10 minute ride to Victoria Station. We were there for 8 nights, and had an unforgettable experience. We would definitely stay again!

  Great views and spacious penthouse in London!

  The place itself was wonderful. My family and some friends of ours all stayed there for almost a week and even with 12 of us, there was plenty of room for everyone. The unit was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the views amazing. My only complaint is that it was a little bit farther that I would have hoped to downtown London but the good news is that there's a bus stop right outside the complex that takes you to Victoria station in 5 minutes.
  
  I would recommend this place to anybody, especially if you have a big group. Robert and his wife were tremendously accommodating.

The penthouse is in Zone 2 of the travel network and has its only 5 minutes by bus to Victoria & 7 minutes walk to the busiest train station in the country, the value is amazing especially if you compare this to a central London property of this size. The other great thing about this Penthouse is the local restaurants,Pubs on the River & of course the Two Terraces you can sit out and relax on until the early Hours with friends and family. It was lovely to meet you all & we hope to welcome you all again.

  Stunning is right!

  Wow! What a place. We booked the Penthouse for a special occasion (our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary) and wanted something out of the ordinary. It certainly exceeded our expectations and was out of the ordinary!
  
  We had six adults and two full-grown teenagers staying at the apartment and there was more than enough room. The open space was great for family gatherings while the bedrooms allowed plenty of privacy and were spaced on different levels. Plus, there were three separate terraces.
  
  The décor is very contemporary… even the teens were impressed and thought it was like something out of a TV show. It is even nicer than the photos. The apartment is in excellent shape and very clean. Bob, the owner, outfitted the apartment with a large-flat panel TV, video systems/games, wifi, and nice kitchen appliances. It’s not your typical rental by a long stretch. The towels and linens were of good quality and toiletries for the bathroom and kitchen
  were included. Also note that there is a washer/dryer in the unit.
  
  The location worked well for us. We knew that it was not in the city center; but we couldn’t find a place that slept 8 closer in (at any price). There are several bus lines that run by the apartment, two of which go to Victoria Station where you can easily reach any part of the city. We never had to wait more than 4 or 5 minutes for a bus. The best way to go is to purchase an Oyster Card, which makes for the easiest and cheapest method of getting around. The apartment is within zone 2 of London transportation system, so there is no surcharge for traveling into the city center.
  
  Within walking distance of the Penthouse, there are several convenience stores and restaurants. The town of Clapham (20-minute walk) was surprisingly nice with lots and lots of shopping and many restaurants. We recommend spending an afternoon there.
  
  Another aspect that is always important to us is timely communication from the owner. Bob was top-notch in this regard. He responded to our email very quickly and was also responsive with questions once we checked in.
  
  We were sad when we had to go home. The penthouse is setup as a place you’d like to live… not just rent for a week. If you can’t tell by now - we highly recommend this rental.

  A Great Getaway

  We stayed for the first week in July 2010. With five children, we do not fit easily into a hotel, and the "Penthouse" offered the perfect solution. Robert coordinated our transport, greeted us when we arrived, answered our "goofy" questions about where to order delivery Thai food, and generally ensured that we had a perfect stay.
  
  Transport to the center of London was easy by bus or taxi. When we took time to simply hang at the Penthouse, it was perfectly comfortable. There was plenty of room for the seven of us to spread out. Most of the dishes and other amenities are nicer than we expect when we rent a house (we rent a lot). We cooked meals in the kitchen, and found everything we needed.

  We stayed 3 months from March until May 2010 with our
  2 kids (2 and 5 years old) in this lovely Penthouse. It is spacious, filled with light and furnished with great taste. The Property is well equipped also for longer stays and if something was not provided Robert and Michaela were completing it before we even noticed we missed it. We had a marvellous time and will definitely come back whenever there is an oppertunity.
