San Diego, CAGreat Location, Great apartment
Left on 04/07/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We had a great experience with our first time vacation rental. The booking process was easy and London Guest Suites was quick to respond to our many questions. We liked having so much space and all of the amenities of home, and will certainly consider a vacation rental for future trips. What we liked most about this apartment was it's central location. We were within walking distance of multiple tube stops, restaurants, shops and sightseeing. It was clean and neat and provided plenty of space for our family of four. We had a view of the London Eye and enjoyed the New Years Eve fireworks from our balcony. Our only issue during the trip was that the tv didn't work (they did try to fix it); but it was ok because we came back exhausted every night from sightseeing! There is a small lift to get to the apartment (or stairs) and the apartment is on multiple levels (bedrooms/bathrooms downstairs, kitchen/dining room/living room upstairs). The only negative comment about this apartment was the noise from the pubs and streets below late into the night; in small part it was the voices of the patrons and pedestrians but mostly it was the dumping of glass bottles into the trash bins. Overall, we'd recommend this apartment and London Guest Suites.

Sussex, N.Bthe apartment was beautiful, spacious and in the perfect location

The service we received was very accomodating, from providing an airport pickup to numerous telephone conversations to reassure us of certain details. We loved the apartment and felt quite lucky in getting accomodations of such quality. It was beautifully decorated, fulfilling our every need. One complaint was that when we couldn't turn on the oven, there was no one available for help. The number left for us was never answered. But we made do with the stove and microwave.
The bedrooms were very nicely decorated and homey, and having a balcony/patio to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks was a lovely bonus. The area we were in,on Maiden lane was terrific--2 blocks from Covent Garden,Trafalger Square, theatres, restaurants, shops, the Underground. Very convenient location! One review we said the pub next door could get very loud, and we did hear revellry, but it was easily blocked out and it didn't stop us from getting to sleep. All in all we were extremely happy with this property. The owners left a very detailed instruction book for us so everything we needed was easily available. The little touches were very thoughtful, such as the travel books in most of the rooms with all the highlights of London, and lovely bedding on all the beds. Both bathrooms were quite large, with a deep bathtub in the master bathroom to soak in! The building itself is very clean and elegant, with only one apartment to each floor. The doors were a bit tricky to unlock, but once we got the hang of it became no problem. We really felt at home here.I really don't see what anyone could find wrong with this property, it was perfect.I have travelled extensively, have stayed at other apartments in Europe so I am not new to the concept. The standard here was very high.Yes the livingroom, kitchen and diningroom are a floor above the bedrooms and bathrooms, but unless you are disabled and cannot walk up a short flight of stairs this should pose no problem.

Wonderful flat - perfect location. This trip was 2 50s sisters and one 20s daughter. Bedrooms and bathrooms perfectly comfortable, though as previously indicated it is 2 bathrooms, no half bath. Up and downstairs full of great books, mysteries and books about London. Beautifully decorated. Tip - the correct Wifi password is taped to the hall mirror, not the one in the instruction book. For us the weather was too cold to spend any time on the two North and South terraces, what a loss. Amzzing view to the South of the London Eye. Steps away from Covent Garden, restaurants, pubs, museames, theatres. Just down an alley to the Strand with buses east and westbound, but close to tubes as well. Great value in central London. One caveat - flat has elevator to 4th (us 5th) floor for bedrooms and baths, but fairly narrow steep stairs to living, dining, kitchen, terraces. Not for the weak of knees or balance.
Absolutely loved it! -

Minneapolis, Minnesota USAA perfectly delightful experience!
Left on 10/31/2010 for a stay in July 2010
This is a truly spectacular flat. The layout was perfect for our three generation get-together -- my husband and I, our daughter and son-in-law, our college age granddaughter and teenage grandson. Each morning we had breakfast on the rooftop patio and in the late evenings we would gather to view the lights of the city and the London Eye or watch the World Cup on the huge flat screen TV. WiFi was simple and wonderfully convenient. A bonus is the French "Paul's Patisserie" just a block away. The location is right in the center of Covent Garden but really very quiet. We got our Oyster cards and covered much of the London area on public transportation
Only surprise, there are two lovely and ample bathrooms but not the 2 1/2 advertised.
We can't wait to go back.
