What Past Guests Are Saying
A delightful cozy sun-filled flat.
This is our favorite place to stay when we are in London.
Location, location, location.
You just can't beat it. And the flat itself is like a home away from home.
Tasteful decor and modern amenities.
Great large windows and charming garden areas add to the enchantment.
If I had one criticism it would be that I wish the bed were a bit larger...
Great apartment in a great location
We spent 4 nights at the end of May in this apartment. It is in a great location and within a few minutes walking to the tube station. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We did not meet Liz as she was out of town, but she arranged for someone to meet us at the apartment when we arrived. We were greeted with beautiful flowers in the apartment, as well as fresh fruit and organic chocolate, which we enjoyed snacking on. Also there were many different kinds of organic teas, as well as tea biscuits. The apartment has a nice layout with a bay window surrounding the dining table. The kitchen is large with all the utensils available, although there is no microwave, and the fridge is kind of small. There is a washing machine, which is great, but there is no dryer. So we had to hang our clothes on the warm towel rack in the bathroom, and they took over 24 hours to dry, which was not very convenient if you pack light. Also there is no phone in the apartment. There is internet acess which worked great, and helped us keep in touch with family at home, since we could not call them. The bathroom is large and has organic soap and shower gel, which can also be used as shampoo (not very good on long hair, so you may want to bring your own shampoo). We enjoyed staying at this apartment during our visit to London, and would definetly recommend it to our friends. Thank you Liz for your hospitality, and we wish that we could have met you, maybe next time!
I never want to stay anywhere else in London
This apartment is everything promised and more. Primrose Hill is an amazing area, and you fall out the front door into a street of excellent restaurants and shops providing everything you could need. The apartment is pristine, and Liz has a woman to come in and clean most every day. Everything is provided and of high quality. There is no microwave, but the stove, toaster and electric kettle meet one's needs. The welcome package of supplies is generous and organic. The apartment has a calm, zen feeling while being plenty plush for comfort. Other than a bit of noise after pub closing time Friday night, it's quiet and cozy. Chalk Farm tube stop is really an easy walk (I am not a big hiker!) and the Northern line gets you to Euston or King's Cross in 2-3 stops for access to other lines. Loved the apartment, loved the neighborhood, loved working with Liz. I highly recommend the flat!
Very satisfied Scot

A Very Nice Place To Stay In London.
Staying in Liz's boutique apartment in Primrose Hill is a very pleasurable experience. Not only is it a 5 Star establishment but its unique locality makes it a "must stay" place for travellers planning a long or short stay in London. Reasonably priced too. Primrose Hill is a delightful part of the city & within easy access to the West End & other popular attractions. When we visit again in 2011/2012 it'll be our sixth 'Liz stay'. Indeed, quite a few of our travelling friends have also opted to ditch five star hotels in favour of Primrose Hill. See you again soon Liz.
a very special home away from home
I came to stay with Liz Heavenstone through a small advertisement placed in the Health Food Shop in Primrose Hill, that was 20 years ago... and I have been coming back to stay with her since. I have also stayed with another family member in Venice.
I have sung her hospitality praises both here in australia and overseas and friends that have stayed with her have come back praising her hospitality also.
