Great 11 nights at Salisbury Mews
Beautiful property, only 3 years old in a private gated courtyard. Tesco supermarket across the street adds to the convenience and only a 10 minute walk to Fulham Broadway tube. Bus stop directly across the street if you chose not to walk. Very quite location, except when Heathrow flight path is close but stops by 11pm each night. Very roomy, very clean and accommodated the 4 of us with ease. Alexa was very helpful with booking and providing clear instructions for obtaining key and gate codes for entry. We will definitely be using Ivy Lettings for our next London vacation

Modern house directly under flight path
Before we made our booking we spoke to an agent from Ivy Lettings and she assured us that the property was in a quiet, residential location. When we arrived we were shocked by the planes that flew overhead every 30 seconds. We had to sleep with earplugs in to get any sleep. The planes started at 5:45am and didn't cease until very late. When we complained to the agent about the noise, she told us that every house in London was affected by similar plane noise. This statement is obviously wrong as this particular house is directly under the flight path. The place did not have an iron or ironing board, adequate cups and looked like it had been stripped bare of supplies.
I would not recommend this property to young families, elderly or disabled as it is over 3 floors with a total of 30 stairs inside.

Thanks for your review and I'm sorry that the noise of the planes affected your stay. I'm also sorry that you felt we missold you this property, however I must say that whilst you can hear planes, this property is absolutely not "directly under the flight path". Saying so would imply an intolerable level of noise. As you approach Heathrow via Chiswick and Kew and other western boroughs of London, yes the planes are much lower and the noise levels much more noticeable. We have no properties in these areas but if we did, we would certainly disclose this fact to clients ahead of booking and would absolutely not recommend them to enquirors for whom a quiet neighbourhood is key criterion. Clearly this is a subjective matter and I'm grateful to your for raising this to me since we will in future advise clients who are particularly sensitive to noise not to rent this property (though we might go one step further and advise them not to vacation in a capital city, period!). For everyone else (and we've rented this house for 3 years to many happy clients) I would say: please don't worry about plane noise at this property.
As to the other points, I'm sorry you found the property lacking but I'd wished you'd raised these points with us when you were here (as we encourage all our guests to do) since we'd have been able to tell you where the iron and board were, together with the (more than) 6 cups this property boasts. I can't comment as to supplies I'm afraid since I don't know what you're referring to (though please email me so I can clarify) but if you mean groceries, then no we don't supply these as standard (but can at extra cost).
You are quite right about the house having stairs and being over 3 floors. I would politely challenge the suggestion that it's not suitable for young families however: the owners themselves have a young family and are very happy there indeed! The house is even equipped specifically for younger guests. So let me go out on a limb here: young families, you will be happy here (except those with a particular sensitive to noise of course, though I don't suppose there are many of those!)

Perfect Unit in Everyway.
We just spent 10 days in London staying at the Salibury Mews property managed by Ivy Lettings and had a fabulous stay.
The unit was immaculate, centrally located, convenient to grocery stores, the tub, pubs, etc and very safe. We were a family of four with two kids (12 and 8) and the layout was ideal for us. There were two bedrooms on the top floor and one on the middle. Each bedroom had a full bathroom and shower with a fourth 1/2 bathroom on the ground floor (where the very nice kitchen was located).
It couldn't have worked out better for us. The second bedroom that my 8 year old daughter stayed in was even painted pink with kid art on the walls. It was so ideal that she was convinced that it was specially decorated for her.
The price was very reasonable for the location, amenities and time of year and Ivy Lettings was a first class organization to deal with. They always responded promptly to emails and arranged us with transportation to and from the property.
Perfect all the way around!

Outstanding flat, outstanding service
From first to last Ivy Lettings treated us with professionalism and kindness. They turned a long-distance reservation into a civilized, dependable relationship. We were charmed by their service and delighted with our home away from home.
As promised, our flat was well-situated. It also was impeccably clean and comfortable. As three adults and a teenager, we appreciated the privacy provided by its 3-levels and 3 bedrooms. The Mews location meant no street noise. A quick walk down a residential street brought us to the tube stop as well as 3 groceries, 2 pharmacies, and an outstanding French restaurant.
Ivy Lettings met us at the flat on our schedule. They also responded promptly to our several questions during our stay. They were reliable at all points of this long-distance transaction. We'd gladly do business with them again.
