This south-west facing apartment is on the top floor of a private secure block which benefits from a concierge (available Mon-Fri) - its 7th floor location means that although the sound of traffic from the street below can be heard, the noise level is fairly minimal.

Views from the apartment are impressive, with the iconic Battersea Power Station visible from the French windows in the main living area.

The apartment provides one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, one single bedroom, a double sofa bed and second, separate, bathroom. Off-street car parking is available.

Towards the rear of the apartment is the living/di...ning/kitchen area (16ft x 11ft4, 4.9m x 3.5m) which is a bright and airy space - due to the large French windows that overlook the city rooftops outside.

There are great views of the city from the living area (from here you can see Battersea Power Station) and the room affords plenty of sunshine, from around 11am to sunset, due to its south-west facing.

The room is modern in style with wood laminate floors, white walls dressed with various paintings, contemporary lighting and modern furniture, including a beige leather chair, dark brown leather sofa (which can fold out into a sturdy double sofa bed) , glass dining table seating four and chest of drawers.

There is a large flat-screen TV with Freeview channels, DVD player and a sound system which can play CDs.

The French windows open onto a small sunny balcony with two chairs - a perfect spot for watching the world beneath you pass by.

There are air-conditioning units in the living area and master bedroom and wireless internet is provided.

The small but very functional kitchen (8ft8 x 6ft4, 2.7m x 1.9m) is separated from the main living area by a glass door and has a contemporary, sleek style with white cabinets, black worktops and stainless steel appliances. There is everything you will need: oven with electric hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and microwave.

The master bedroom (14ft4 x 9ft3, 4.4m x 2.8m) continues the modern theme with white walls and contemporary furnishings. This room has an air-conditioning unit, sleek glass work desk and chair, wall mounted TV and fitted wardrobes. From this room you can see the new Shard building and views of the city. There is also an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and loo.

The single room (10ft8 x 8ft7, 3.3m x 2.7m) is also modern in style and has a chest of drawers and a small desk and chair. This room has colourful art on the walls - adding character to the space.

The main bathroom is very modern in style, with grey tiled walls and floor. There is a bath with over-shower, basin and loo.

Located just 2 mins waking distance from Pimlico underground station (Victoria line), this apartment is centrally situated in a great spot for travelling around the city. Just 1 stop from Victoria and 3 stops from Oxford Circus, everything is very easy to reach.

There are a range of restaurants close to the apartment - there's a good eatery serving Indian cuisine just a 1 minute walk away and a Turkish and an Italian restaurant just 5 minutes away.

Art lovers can take a casual stroll to Tate Britain, less than 10 minutes away. The river Thames is next to this famous art museum and visitors are recommended to hop aboard one of the many boats that travel along the river in order to soak up the city landmarks and buildings - it is cheaper to take one of the commuter boats as opposed to the tourist boats! Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament can be reached in less than 20 minutes on foot or 10-15 minutes via the underground plus a short walk.

  Our experience at Vauxhall Road was excellent! We loved the walking distance to Victoria Coach Station for our day trips and the wonderful Indian restaurant, Millbank Spice, down the street. We walked to the Tate Britain and easily found taxis (particularly at the gas station down the street!)The apartment was bright and very modern and comfortable, with every amenity you'd expect at home with an extra effort by the owners to provide maps, tour guide books and information , in the bookcase, for the visitor. We so appreciated the quick response of the management to a small glitch of finding how to turn on the water heater and the very nice young man at the front desk who "rescued" a giant bee from my open bedroom window and released him off the balcony! The apartment was immaculate and came with a maid service prior to the second week. We also loved the local farmer's market and the pubs nearby, which have very good food. We shopped at the local convenience stores and mailed packages from the post office. Everyone was helpful and pleasant. We had very busy days visiting everything we could, from museums to Parliament, and we so appreciated how very quiet and peaceful it was in the apartment at night.And we particularly appreciated how very safe the area was as well as the building itself. We so enjoyed staying at Vauxhall Road that we'd certainly do it again on our next trip to London!

  quiet apartment on 7th floor with all the modern conveniences needed. full kitchen available for home cooked dinners. 1 master bedroom with queen size bed. 1 bedroom with single bed. living-room couch converts to double bed. concierge service during daylight and evening hours. walking distance to all museums, major attractions. subway a block away. would rent this flat again without question.
