A beautiful property! Clear your credit cards if you are living in this exclusive district of London: Harrods two blocks away and all the shops along Beauchamp Place just around the corner! Yet, while in the midst of all tlhis luxury and temptation, we offer a wonderful property which is hidden away in a quiet cul-du-sac of wonderful mid-Victorian residences. The large trees allow further peace and quiet. It is absolutely a beautiful area and a fantastic destination for a visitor to London. The Knightsbridge Tube Stop on the Piccadilly Line is one of the most desirable travel destinations in the capital and takes a visitor to Green Park,... Piccadilly, and straight through central London--wonderful. The property itself is on the raised ground level with a few steps leading into the building itself. On the raised ground floor, the door to the property is directly off the security controlled main entrance hall--all very convenient and easy to reach. The beautiful lounge is filled with beautiful decorative items brought here from the family's home on Eaton Square. There is a dining area for six persons in the bay window and comfortable seating throughout the room. A decorative fireplace is the focal point of the room with rare Louis XVI chairs, all needleworked by family members, along the walls. The kitchen is reached through French doors at one end of the lounge. The very nice kitchen has all machines including washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, granite counters, microwave, etc. It is really fine quality and finished in hardwood floors throughout. The masterbedroom has a queen size bed and wonderful closets. The masterbedroom is made further comfortable with an ensuite bathroom with an excellent shower stall. The second bedroom has two twin beds and has its own bathroom en suite with shower stall, sink, and loo. The bedrooms and bathrooms are outstanding. This is a beautiful flat and comfortable for four persons. Gorgeous property. Properties of this standard in this location are not readily available. This is an unusual and wonderful opportunity.   Our yearly trip to the UK usually involve flying from Singapore to Scotland with a 2 - 2.5 hours wait at London Heathrow for our domestic flight to Glasgow.
  
  We have two young children aged 7 and 3; and finding a place to stay in London for a week for the first time was a long process. We needed two bedrooms and was looking at both self-catering and service apartment which has queen or king bed and a twin bed for the kids that is near a train station and Tesco or Sainburys (for food supplies)!!
  
  I saw Beaufort Gardens flat and looked like the perfect match for us. We never trust the photos online/brochure as it could have been taken 5 or 10 years ago, but I must say that what you see on Beaufort Gardens photos here is what you will get. Bear in mind the flat is small which is expected in London. The living room and dining room are in the same room. Both bedrooms has en-suite shower and the beds are comfortable.
  
  Kitchen is basic but good enough for short stays. I like the fact that the flat has washing machine and clothes tumble dryer with washing powder and fabric softener provided too. With two young children it came in very handy! I think self-catering accommodation should provide a starter kit!

  All of the above were available at Beaufort Gardens, which was great.
  
  Location. Location. It was perfectly located for all activities. Situated behind Harrods, walking distance to Hyde Park, Tube and Museums. Brompton Road has lots of cafes and places to eat. Tesco and M&S; (Marks & Spencer) for food supplies are on Brompton Road, a few minutes walk.
  
  The only thing we didn't like about the flat is there was a lot of unnecessary furniture (side tables with 4 chairs) for an already small flat. The living room has too many chairs and side tables that was no use unless you are having a party for 20 that need to sit. Other than that, the flat is comfortable and had all the amenities you need for a long or short stay.
