Poorly Maintained Very Disappointed
My wife and I rented the apartment for 2 weeks in May 2013. The apartment is very tired and many facitlities such as the cook top and oven, washing machine and more did not work or not work properly. Bathroom taps leaked or did not work and the lounge suite looked tired and soiled. A lack of bedding meant we either froze or boiled in bed at night. All of the items were pointed out to the owner and to date no response has been received. This together with the loud and intolerable noise of the Docklands Light Rail (DLR) which screaches around the corner nearby, made the stay really disappointing.
Compared to other apartments we had stayed at immediately prior, where for less money everything was in tip top condition, this apartment was not good value.
I do not recommend this apartment or any owned by Monika Goyal in the Docklands/Meridian/Canary Wharf/Discovery Dock complex.

Great Owners. Great Location
We rented this apartment for 8 days during our stay in London while attending the Olympics. We had another apartment fall through on us last minute and Monika and Pankaj could not have been more helpful to me and my family to help make a memorable visit out of what could have been a complete disaster. The apartment was comfortable and spacious and well appointed. Washing machine/dryer unit was a bit difficult to operate but otherwise everything else was fine. Building was undergoing some hallway/interior renovations but didn't inconvenience us. The location in Canary Wharf with close proximity to both the DLR and nearby underground made accessing all of London very easy. Small convenience market, bank, several restaurants and takeaway locations all within a few minutes of the buidling. Kids enjoyed the pool. Good security as well. We would highly recommend these owners to anyone coming to visit to help them find a place to stay.
We booked this apartment after being let down by another apartment owner and letting agent, and we are so glad we were. The apartment is lovely, very spacious, clean and with everything you could need for a break in London. On arrival we contacted Monica who sent someone around with the key and we were shown to the apartment, (though not the one we had thought we were booking) by a very polite young man. The apartment as i said was great, plenty of room for the 5 of us (all adults) only mins away from South Quay DLR and a couple of mins more from canary whalf underground so central London is only about 10 mins away. 1 min away from the apartment is a Tesco Express and a good few eateries so very convenient.
There is 24 hour security so felt very safe but also felt very safe in the area no matter the time. Inside the apartment as i said very spacious There are 2 double bedrooms, one room even had 2 double beds as well as an en-suite.The other bathroom is well appointed and the showers wow great after a full day site seeing. The Kitchen has a dishwasher as well as a washing machine and everything else you could possible need. The lounge is fab with a large TV (not that we watched it a great deal) free wifi and plenty of comfy seating. Don't get carried away with the view of the Thames you can only just see it if you stand on the tiny balcony but again we were out for most of the day so didn't care. On arrival we had informed the young man that we would be wanting to check out at 9.00 and we did call Monica at 8.45 to say we were ready but our lovely young man did not turn up until gone 9.30 to collect the keys and return our deposit luckily we were not in a rush for the airport/ station as others may be, but this is the only criticism of a fantastic apartment.
Family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our week here. Very clean and modern, with kitchen and laundry. Overlooks the water too! Super convenient, easy walk to tube, food and mall. After a day out seeing the sights, kids loved coming back to the heated indoor pool. We had wondered if we would be a bit too far out from the sights, but was not an issue at all - very easy to get around as it is on the Jubilee line. Would definitely stay here again!
