Additional Location Information
Kensington is frequently associated with the city’s best dressed and well-heeled. As such, it is no surprise that it is notable in particular for its main commercial artery, Kensington High Street, home of the Whole Foods Market flagship store and a vast selection of affordable brand names. Moving westwards takes you to Shepherd’s Bush, home of the behemoth Westfield shopping centre, the largest urban mall in Europe. Alighting at the South Kensington tube stop, you begin to understand the area’s reputation as the city’s heart of high-brow culture. Right next to the station you will find a tightly knit (and well signposted) corridor of museums and galleries, all of which date from the 1851 Great Exhibition, whose profits Prince Albert used to regenerate the area. This includes the V&A;, Science and Natural History Museums, as well as the Royal Albert Hall. The beauty of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park adds weight to London's title of most verdant city of its size in the world.

Los Angeles, CA, USAA lovely week spent in a beautiful Brook Green flat!
Left on 04/07/2012 for a stay in March 2012
My husband and I spent a week in this gorgeous home. It's located in the Brook Green suburb of London, in a residential neighborhood just up the street from a nursery school. We couldn't have been happier with the house itself. It was bright, welcoming, clean, spacious and well designed. It was perfect for the two of us, but with it's guest bedroom and guest bathroom it could easily accommodate an additional guest, couple or children.
Quick Note: The owners have left an outdoor table and two chairs which make having a cup of coffe or tea on the gorgeous back patio (on a nice day of course!) truly a delight.
Shepherd's Bush and the Hammersmith tube stations are both about a 10-15 minute walk away which making getting into London proper and the West End for sightseeing, theatre and dinners very simple.
The neighborhood itself was so nice as from the front door looking to the right you can see the famous Havelock Tavern which serves delicious meals all day round. To the left, you can see Old Pars Head a very tasty Tavern which serves some of the best Thai food ever! It's a bit of a strange combination (beer and Thai food, haha) but it is really quite perfect. We also tried The Jameson (also around the bend) and we loved meeting the owners and talking with the lively and welcoming locals. Cost Cutters is right across from The Jameson and served as a great spot to pick up the basics (bread, milk, cereal, etc).
All in all, we truly enjoyed being the only non-locals and felt as if we had a chance to blend with the locals and get a real feeling as to what it may be like to live in this lovely city.
We look forward to staying here again in the future!
P.S. For some reason I am unable to upload photos, but you can see all of our photos of the flat on our European Vacation blog: www.mnreurope2012.blogspot.comResponse from Ivy Lettings - 10/09/2012

Dear Guest, Many thanks for your kind review. We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back in future. Sincerely, Guy van der Westhuizen (MD, Ivy Lettings) PS the Havelock is the best pub in London, no question.

BourneSpacious, modern and well equipped
Left on 01/30/2012 for a stay in October 2011
50 Masbro Road is a super house to rent. It is a traditional terraced house with a modern finish. It is spacious downstairs with a big kitchen linked with a large sitting room. The kitchen leads out into a super, easy to maintain patio garden which is great in the summer, and it is remarkably quiet, considering the number of houses in the street.
Upstairs is light, airy and spacious with a lovely bathroom off the main bedroom and a very good shower room next to the guest room.
The house is ideally located for quick access to central London on the Tube and good access to roads exiting London. It is a ten minute walk from the super shopping at Westfields on Shepherd's Bush too. -

MarlboroughA cool place in Brooke Green
Left on 01/29/2012 for a stay in November 2011
This attractive house with a great kitchen is uncluttered but inviting - in the best part of Brooke Green. A comfortable bed and really nice bathroom. A fun area with good pubs and great general atmosphere. Definitely a place to be.
