Description from the owner
This spacious (66 sq m) just redecorated heart of Central London apartment provides enjoyable and comfortable accommodation. The property is in excellent condition and is offered fully furnished in a contemporary style.
The property is on the fifth floor (with lift) and is set out over one floor. There is woodstrip laminate flooring throughout and very good natural light.
Two double bedrooms are at the rear of the building (so particularly quiet for sleeping) and overlook the local landmark, the impressive BT Tower. The master bedroom (2.89m x 4.19m) has a full ensuite with full-sized bath, shower unit, handbasin and WC. In additi...Read more

Conway, ARComfortable and great location for a family
Left on 04/24/2013 for a stay in April 2013
This flat in north-central London is very nice for a family or two families together. It is very comfortable with a well-appointed kitchen. It is centrally located to bus, subway (tube), national rail service and taxi transport. Also many types of restaurants and food stores are very close by. It's even within easy wallking distance of the world famous British Museum. The flat screen TV and the free Wi-Fi are also big pluses. The rental details are very professionally handled as well.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Traveling with a teenager and having a separate bedroom for her was brilliant. Not to mention Internet access.
Plent of room, very comfortable and so close to everything. Was a taste of London living. The kitchen is well equipped and 2 bathrooms !! Oxford street shops a a quick tube ride ( we often walked) and everything we wanted to see is avail from there.
There is a small but very useful lift for you and your luggage and the owners are fantastic. Friendly and helpful. A very easy holiday stay. We were there during the off peak and the price was so much better value than a hotel.
Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!
Thanks Liz -

We just returned from a lovely week in London and found this apartment to be perfect for our needs. The location is good. Close to several Tube stops and within a few few blocks of several nice restaurants. The apartment is in a secured building, beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. Being next to the BT Tower, which sticks up conspicuously in the skyline, it was also easy to find from anywhere around the area. If we make it back to London again, we would definitely be interested in staying here again.

Our family of 5 (including 3 teen girls) stayed at this Fitzrovia apartment for a week. We found it to be clean and simple. The location was very convient to the tube, grocery store, and a huge variety of cute and affordable casual restaurants.
Liz from Lizard Properties was very efficient and helpful in every way. A very nice experience overall. -

We stayed in this condo in November, and thought it was great. Location was close to the west end, and the underground. The condo has everything you will need, and the 2 bathrooms were very handy since there were 5 of us.

This flat was perfect for our family of 6 (2 adults, 2 teens and 2 under age 10). The location was great for touring with easy access to the tube or within walking distance of Regents Park or the British Museum. There was also a supermarket and lots of take-away restaurants, so eating at home and making picnic lunches was easy (we preferred eating at home with tired children to consider, but there are lots of restaurants for eating out too). The front bedroom was a little noisy at night, and the back bedrooms a little noisy in the morning, but not unreasonably so for a urban location. Liz was pleasant and efficient to deal with, and very helpful. We had a little trouble with the wi-fi, but my husband fixed it by hitting the "reset" button. Our family is unanimous that we want to stay here again!

BrisbaneGreat memories of this flat
Left on 07/29/2012 for a stay in December 2011
Our stay was over Christmas last year. It was a great apartment for my husband, myself and our son and daughter. It was cosy and comfortable. We found it very handy to transport and found many places we could walk to. We cooked a traditional Christmas dinner instead of going out to eat. The well-appointed kitchen enabled us to eat a lot of our meals in, rather than argue about where we would dine. It was roomy enough for 4 adults and we appreciated the efforts Liz made to ensure our stay was welcoming and enjoyable. I don't envisage another visit to London, but we wouldn't stay anywhere else if we did take another trip in the future.

Left on 07/15/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We had a great stay at the flat. A short walk to the tube. The location is pretty convenient and there are a lot of restaurants and pubs nearby. Very Clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfasts and assemble our take away meals.
Special notes--
The Sainsbury's is the larger grocery. Avoid the Tesco market.
The combo washer and dryer has different cyles. Options 7 and 11 are the ones to use for normal light wash/dry or just dry. The dryer option for clothes in the drawer is too hot for synthetics. User the hanger option.
If you turn of the power, it is 2 minutes before the door will open. -

What a great place for family of six! Very nice, clean location for family wishing to "live local" during our London stay. Close to tubes, restaurants, and grocery. Good amount of space. Enjoyed our stay very much. Liz was great in sending us info on things to do and recommendations for travel to sights outside of London. Thank you!

The toilet in the ensuite was inclined to be smelly, and the smell seemed to come up through the drains. It was also hard to flush. The glass on the shower had evidence of mould on it.

Owner
You can see that this guest had a positive experience because she gave a 4* review. I was very surprised by her comments in the review and of course I contacted her.
She said "I thought the review was going to you rather than on the internet. Overall I thought the flat was pretty good but it was the couple with us who used the ensuite in question and I didn't get to use it myself. Do I just go on to the website to withdraw that?" - ie she was commenting on something that she hadn't seen and she would have liked to have deleted them but it's not that easy with this service.
I'd like to reassure you that our intention is for you to have an excellent stay in London. We are on hand to assist and can always help guests with any issues or queries. If this guest had alerted me to her concerns, I would have had the problem resolved immediately for her.
I have checked and checked again. There is no smell or mould in the bathroom. As you can see from the other reviews, our standards are high and we would never allow this to happen.
