Bangalow, AustraliaA true gem in the heart of London's cultural area
Left on 12/28/2012 for a stay in December 2012
We had an extended stay at this great apartment for commitments in London and also Christmas. The apartment is great, very tastefully fitted out and location is the best you could wish for for visiting the funky, interesting, artistic areas of East London. As a family of 5 we were more than comfortable and enjoyed the convenience of home cooking which is very easy as Sainsbury's supermarket less than 2 minutes walk from apartment. Rolf and Mok the owners could not do enough to help us from information before we arrived, contact during our stay and checking on our progress/arrangements for our onwards journey. We loved the Whitechapel area especially all the market stalls outside the courtyard every day. Bricklane and Spittersfield area easy to walk to and all underground stations easy to get to with Whitechapel station so close. When we return to London in the next year we hope to be able to stay here again.

We have stayed in the apartment 6 days. The apartment was very nice, clean and updated, spacious, bright, with everything we needed. Separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed, modern kitchen and a bath. It is a bit away from the center, but just a couple of short blocks to the train and bus stops just right there. We had no problem with being away from the center,as it normally took us 15+ minutes to get anywhere.
Landlords were very nice and accommodating. If we will be in London again, we will stay there!!!

Paris, FranceGreat apartment!
Left on 06/15/2012 for a stay in June 2012
I stayed in this apartment with my husband and a friend for 4 nights in June 2012. The apartment was spacious, modern, and clean. The location was about a two minute walk at most to the Whitechapel tube station, which was so convenient to get around London. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The owners were so responsive along the way via email. They were able to meet us shortly after our train arrived in London and gave us useful information about restaurants and sights in the area. If we get the opportunity to visit London again we would definitely stay here!

Minneapolis, MNConvenient Comfortable apartment Rental in a Vibrant area
Left on 05/27/2012 for a stay in May 2012
Mok met us when we arrived and immediately put us as ease with his friendliness and helpful suggestions for restaurants, how to get around, etc.
Mu husband and I were travelling with my three adult daughters and the apartment worked great for us. We stayed for five nights. Our first full day in London we walked from the apartment to the Tower of London and from there on to St. Paul's Cathedral and then a pedestrian bridge to the Tate Museum, and from there east to the Tower Bridge where we finally took the Underground to the stop a block away from the apartment. Other days we took full advantage of the conveniently located Underground and bus system to many destinations in London and beyond. We found the Underground to be very easy to navigate and with the Whitechapel station being on the District line, it was ideal for many of the sights we wanted to see.
The kitchen is well-equipped and the bathroom has a very nice shower. The Bombay Grill restaurant is a couple of blocks away and was very good.
The apartment is very comfortable and we found ourselves frequently hanging out there enjoying each other's company even though we had many sights to see. Other residents in the building were very helpful - one carried my suitcase up when I first arrived, and others were friendly when our paths crossed. The neighborhood is busy and vibrant, always something interesting to see as we walked down the street.
We were very happy with this apartment rental and would return if the opportunity arises.
