Facts about the area:

Soho is an area in the centre of the West End of London, England, in the City of Westminster. It is an entertainment district which for much of the later part of the 20th century had a reputation for its night life and film industry. Since the early 1980s the area has undergone considerable transformation and is now a fashionable district of upmarket restaurants and media offices with only a small remnant of "sex industry" venues in the west of the area.

Soho has an area of approximately one square mile and may be thought of as bounded by Oxford Street to the north, Regent Street to the west, Leicester Square to the south and Charing Cross Road to the east. However apart from Oxford Street, all of these roads are nineteenth century metropolitan improvements, so they are not Soho`s original boundaries, and it has never been an administrative unit, with formally defined boundaries. The area to the west is known as Mayfair, to the north Fitzrovia, to the east St Giles`s and Covent Garden, and to the south St James`s.   We loved the location in Soho. It was close to museums, restaurants, theaters, public transportation. We felt safe in the area. My husband, two teenaged sons, one college aged daughter and I stayed from Dec. 30, 2012 to Jan. 3, 2013.
  It was easy to arrange a time to meet with the property manager for the keys. Everyone associated with the property were helpful and friendly.
  The apartment was comfortable and well appointed.
  The windows are double paned in the bedrooms so they are quiet for sleeping.
  The service recommended for transport to and from the airport was excellent. The driver was friendly and accommodating.

  We can't say enough about the location of the apartment and the apartment itself. The location is outstanding and in easy walking to the theatre district, the British Museum, many major attractions such as Big Ben, Westminister abbey, Buckingham Palace, the Eye, etc. The tube is close and there is plenty of surface transportation. Sainsbury's supermarket is just across the street. Smart TV and wi-fi services worked without any tech glitches.
  The apartment is beautifully decorated, very clean and very well equipped-washing machine, dishwasher, hair dryer, towels, toiletries,etc.
  We will make the same choice for our next trip to London for sure and will recommend it to our very best friends.

  It was our first trip to London. After intensive search we found this place that suited our needs and... ee hit the jackpot!
  The location could not be more central, within walking distance of major attractions, city life, and tubes and buses, both, local and national! The booking and check-in is easy and the communication and response by the management is very prompt. The apartment was fully equipped including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, laundry soap etc. Despite in the centre of city, it was quiet with the windows closed that looked out on a little Street Market.
  It is ideal for 5 people and suitable for up to 6. Would definitely book again if we visit London in the future.
  I recommend them and the apartment without hesitation. You will not go wrong!
