The flat is very well equipped and convenient. Lots of shops and restaurants around the area. Not only are the various machines and appliances inside the flat easy to operate, everything works as well! The cooking utensils are great, and the rooms are bright and airy.
Room for improvement though. There should be more soaps and shampoos, a chopping board, more serving bowls and plates, and provision of fresh ground coffee in the flat.
The management should consider having the second bedroom with twin beds to sleep siblings or friends sharing the flat.
Having no lift while being put right on the top floor means we have to climb up and down the floors with all our bags and groceries, which was exhausting!Response from Boutique London Lets - 06/14/2013

We spent there beautiful 3 days. Apartment was very clean and pleasant: we lived in apartment no 5 which is about 550square feet big, with one bathroom. There were 4 of us, for my parents who are 66 it was a little to high as it is a third level and the stairs are very steep and narrow. But I must say we felt there almost like home : Ikea style furniture, nice kitchen/ diner, beautiful cosy bathroom was a great base for our trip to London! Disadvantage? Minor: we couldnt close doors to bedrooms/ problems with locks/ and kitchen and we couldnt lock the bathroom door. Bedrooms a little bit noisy between 6-7 am /bins/. Photos on website were a little misleading because they didnt show no 5 apartment, just selection of other apartments.
Definitely will rent again as the location was so convinient for great sightseeing. We did enjoy staying there :-)Response from Boutique London Lets - 05/24/2013

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. We were two couples and it was ideal for us, plenty of space and perfect location, just a couple of minutes walk from the nearest tube station and a few more minutes walk to many attractions.

Lilac apartment is a great two bedroom apartment equipped to high standards and very suitable for a family of four. It was especially nice because its condition was new. Bedding was comfortable. Access to apartment is by code, therefore very convenient. A complaint about a missing hairdryer was immediately seen to. I would rent this apartment again and hopefully be given a discount for returning.

We stayed in two of the two-bedroomed apartments in this block. Flat 5 was laid out well and quite comfortable - if somewhat compact. The biggest drawback was that it was only accessible by a narrow series of stairs. Getting luggage up and down the stairs was quite hard. We were also travelling with young children, and getting a pushchair in and out was an ordeal. Flat 3 was lower in the building, which made access easier. It was however split over two levels and linked by an open spiral staircase. This made it really inappropriate for families with young children. (The managers were aware that we were travelling with children as we had booked a cot). The apartment was also not as well finished. It also seems that the apartment is a hold-all for the cleaning equipment for the whole block, which is shoved under the open stairs. We also had some trouble with the meet and greet service. We re left standing in the road for over half an hour waiting for someone to arrive. The managers also boast that their telephone line is serviced 24-hours a day, but we called on several occasions and no one answered. The location is however great, and there are a number of good restaurants in the vicinity. The apartments are probably best suited for couples or families with older children, who are travelling without too much luggage.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear things weren’t quite as good as we would have both liked them to be but appreciate your balanced and constructive feedback.
The stairs do seem to be a common concern, and whilst we do not advertise a lift/elevator, it appears the number of stairs do surprise some people. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to be clear with regards to the number of stairs.
Apartment 1 is on the ground floor; apartment 2 is on the first floor; apartment 3 is also on the first floor and is split level; apartment 4 is on the second floor; apartment 5 is on the third floor and the penthouse apartment is on the top and fourth floor.
We have also spent time recently ensuring that our bookings team know the properties inside out so can make more appropriate recommendations - we are sorry if apartment 5 was a little difficult to circumnavigate with small children.
We have also resolved the brief staffing issues which meant that we were not as responsive as usual and apologise that you had to wait for half an hour.
We have since also reduced the cleaning materials down to what is essential for each flat so this should no longer be an issue for any future guests.
Thank you for the positive feedback with regards to the apartment amenities and the surrounding area which are we agree excellent.
I hope we can do a better job next time of impressing you and future guests.
