This flat is located on a quiet one-way street lined with oak trees in Kensington & Chelsea in central London. A traditional British pub is on the street and two fine restaurants are just one minute away.
The Royal Borough has many bars, trendy cafes and markets. Westfield London, a new billion pound shopping complex, is nearby. The area is a centre of live music, especially at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
Holland Park, Notting Hill Gate, Portobello Market and High Street Kensington are only a 10 minute stroll away. You walk to Kensington Gardens and Kensington Palace within 15 minutes. You can easily reach the West End and other parts of London via the local tube stations

We had booked another apartment with Carl in Marble arch but he rang on our way to London to sat there were problems & offered us a cab to an alternative venue. We accepted as it was too late to find somewhere else. As it turned out The apartment in Holland Park ( more like Shepherd's Bush ) was fine for the 4 of us. we needed 3 beds & the sofa lounge was adequate. I must sat the owners were very apologetic & have offered us a free night if we return.
Not necessary , but a nice offer. -

Carl is a fantastic host! He met us at this great apartment and made us very welcome. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equiped. It is located in a quiet street with a major Bus and train station only minutes away so you can get into the heart of London very quickly. When we visit London agaoin we will surely stay at The Duchess! This apartment is very highly recommended!

We were accused of water damage that occurred in the apartment below us because of getting water on the floor when showering. The neighbors downstairs said that there has been a major battle about who is responsible for the leaks that go into their apartment. The fire brigade was called and they found a leak under the sink. Despite the hassle and inconvenience,there was no discount or accommodation given. Had we not pursued it, we would have been charged for the whole mess that we had no part of creating. I'd be careful when renting from these owners anywhere in London.

The Duchess flat is a really nice place to stay. We were a group of 4 friends travelling and we did enjoy it much. The apartment is really clean, well equiped, bright and spacious, with wifi connection, and located in a safe and a quiet area, within 3 minutes walking distance from the nearest tube station. Very good value for money, Carl and his team were very helpful and did their best to accommodate our needs and ease our check-in. A place i would definitely recommend.

Le foto sono fuorvianti. Casa abbastanza grande ma arredata male, con divani vecchi (non sono i divani blu della foto), materassi scomodi, lenzuola, coperte e asciugamani brutti e di stili diversi. Poca cura nei dettagli e tanta polvere ovunque. Insomma la sconsiglio, anche perchè non costa poco. Per 2 notti abbiamo avuto 1 camera ed il bagno gelidi. Poi il proprietario (dopo varie lamentele) ha provveduto a sistemare i termosifoni. Si salva la cucina. Anche la scala interna condominiale di accesso all'appartamento nonchè il relativo androne sono vecchi e sporchi
