The Perfect London Location

This London pied a terre is just footsteps away from shops, restaurants and attractions yet cloistered in a tranquil flower-filled square with it’s own private park.

Just off High Street Kensington, this one-bedroom/one-bathroom first-floor flat offers the very best of the capital, right on your doorstep. A minute away from High Street Ken tube station, it’s also a short walk from restaurants (we love Kensington Square Kitchen for the best English breakfast ever, and Randa for amazing Lebanese); stylish stores (Marks & Spencer, Uniqlo, Zara, and Top Shop among them); and all the urban staples includ...Read more

      Great Flat

Left on 04/26/2013 for a stay in April 2013

The flat is in a great location, 3 minutes walk from an underground station in an area with plenty of shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. Sarah provides all the appliances you need for a great stay (full kitchen, washer/dryer, nice bath, iron, etc.) The apartment has a separate kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom. The rooms are small but fine for 2 people. The furniture is nice and the living room and bedroom both have TVs. The building is nice with good security and a lift. Much cheaper than a hotel of the same quality.

      Perfect Pied a Terre

Left on 03/17/2013 for a stay in February 2013

This comfortable, quiet, modern, completely equipped, and attractively decorated pied a terre tucked away in the Kensington High Street area is perfect. There are excellent restaurants, shopping and convenient public transit in the immediate neighbourhood. Our stay was keynoted right at the start by our hostess placing a bouquet of fresh flowers in the apartment to greet us upon arrival. We know where we wish to stay when we next visit London.

      Perfect and Ideal Location!

Left on 03/15/2013 for a stay in March 2013

We arrived to this flat and were greeted by friendly and helpful Sarah. She explained everything we needed to know and much to our delight, we even found a goodie bowl of chocolates as well as a beautiful vase of flowers. The flat was lovely, comfortable and just what we needed. It was so much better coming home at night, sitting on the sofa to watch TV for a bit, relax, have a cup of tea or coffee and plan the next day's activies instead of being in a hotel room. The amenities were great, the location couldn't be any better! Shops, transportaion, restaurants abound in this area as well as a lovely garden just outside our front door! We felt very safe walking day or night in the area. This was the first time we have done a flipkey rental and I'm so glad this was the one we chose! Thanks to Sarah for helping make our stay in London so delightful. We would definitely use this flat again when going to London.

Perfect Place to Stay for a Visit to London

Left on 01/04/2013 for a stay in December 2012

My wife and I just returned from a week-long visit to London and our first stay at Flat 5. It was not only more economical than a hotel, but way more enjoyable. The flat has four separate rooms: living room, bedroom (each with its own separate heater), bath and kitchen. There is a very modern stove, a washer/dryer combo, microwave, fridge, toaster, etc., etc.,plus two TVs with excellent cable service.

The flat is in top notch condition, was very clean, and had all the amenities we could want. It also has a balcony that overlooks the little park and the square below.

The building is very secure and the flat has not only one locking system but an extra deadbolt. We didn't even bother with the dead bolt because the area seemed extremely safe.

Just a couple to a few blocks away are numerous stores including a huge Whole Foods, Marks and Spencer, eateries, pubs, etc., yet the square itself was very quiet at night. if you go, don't miss Mr. Muffin, around the corner...outstanding place for breakfast or tea.

Not sure when we will get a chance to return to London, but when we do we will definitely check to see if Flat 5 is available. It is the best we have found in London so far and can't imagine any better combination of comfort, location, and security.

The flat is located within a five minute walk of Kensington High Street tube station, several bus lines and, of course, plentiful cab connections.

By the way, the owner was delightful to deal with and the booking process very easy.

      Cosy&clean; apartment in great location!

Left on 11/11/2012 for a stay in November 2012

My husband and myself stayed in this apartment for a week in November'12.
Check in/check out was easy and whats important very flexible (we had an evening flight, and after checking with the owner had no problems with the late check out).
We are frequent travellers, so very used to all sorts of hotels/apartments. This apartment was very very clean, and had everything that we needed. It was much better value compared to the hotels we stayed in the past in this area. You have great location, much more space ( in comparison with double room in the hotel) and homely feel to it (especially important if you travel a lot).
Overall, great apartment for 2 people in central location, with easy access to all shops and amenities of central London.

Wonderful flat in a superb location.

Left on 11/04/2012 for a stay in October 2012

This was a superb flat and I loved my stay. Brilliant location just a few mins walk to High Street tube Kensington tube and the High Street itself which has a wealth of shops/ restaurants etc. Yet the flat is in a quiet beautiful square with a lovely outlook onto a communal garden surrounded by tall trees so you do not feel you are in the hustle and bustle. The flat is of a very high standard & fully equipped. The bedroom has a wonderfully comfortable bed and smart linen. Lovely lounge area. Sarah is extremely helpful and I hope to have the opportunity to stay again.
