Early cancellation. If you cancel earlier than 2 weeks before you are due to arrive, we will charge you 50% of the cost of your stay. Late cancellation. If you cancel within 2 weeks of your stay, we will try to offer the home to someone else. If we are successful we will offer a partial refund of the cost of your booking (less our admin charges).

  One Fine Family Stay

  We recently traveled with our family for a week in London during the school March break. Being a family of two teenagers and one nine year old, we definitely require space. This is why we chose to rent an apartment instead of going the hotel route. Making the reservation with One fine Stay was very easy. Although their website is easy to navigate, I preferred to speak to a person as I am not that familiar with the London districts and wanted to ensure we were choosing the right area. They were most helpful and guided us to a fabulous home, very centrally located in the Westminster area. The home was truly as advertised. The photos on the website accurately depicted what the house looked like. When we arrived at the home after our long red-eye flight, we were warmly welcomed by a staff member who was there waiting for us. He gave us a quick tour of the home, provided a short list of rules and instructions, handed us two sets of keys, our iPhone and was on his way.
  The home was in immaculate condition. It had been thoroughly cleaned, and had been equipped with the same amenities as a hotel. The bedrooms were big, and the bathrooms were large and updated. The big pillows and fluffy duvets made for a wonderful nights sleep after a long, busy day. Although we were in our own home, we were treated like hotel guests. The staff of One Fine Stay was only a phone call away if we needed anything. And they certainly were there for us. Hairdryers were delivered the same day; extra towels arrived the next and they were even able to find us last minute tickets to a soccer game, which I had been told by others was impossible to obtain. Thanks to them, we are officially the best parents ever!!
  The iPhone that they provided was an indispensable tool. The programmed information, such as recommended restaurants, taxi numbers etc. was very helpful but Maps became our best friend. We used that phone to navigate us everywhere. The phone has an icon on the main screen that is a direct number to the office. You just simply press the icon, and you are instantly calling the concierge service. Housekeeping was available for an extra charge, however we did not use this service.
  The home was perfect for our needs. With four bedrooms and bathroom each on their own floor, everybody was able to spread out and take time for themselves. The kitchen was equipped with state of the art appliances and adequate cooking utensils to be able to prepare simple breakfasts and the all important snacks. A grocery store was locates only a few blocks away, so we stocked up for the week. We also had a wonderful washer/dryer as well as an iron and ironing board. The house was wonderful for us, but due to the many flights of stairs, it would not be an ideal match for young children nor the disabled.
  Our only complaint about the property was the inconsistent water temperature. Some days the hot water was almost non existent and so our showers were more tepid than hot. The pressure was also not very strong. The shower on the top floor was unusable as the water trickled out from the rain shower head. My daughter was forced to share a bathroom with us.
  Leaving the home was as easy and hassle-free as our arrival. We simply left the keys on the counter, closed the door behind us and said our goodbyes, just as if we had been in a hotel. It really is hotel living, only with more space.
  I found the staff to be most pleasant and most helpful. I will most definitely be returning to London and I will most definitely book with One Fine Stay.
