The LBI Bauhaus built in 1960 in the style of Bauhaus architecture: simple and functional. Altogether four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two kitchens, two living rooms -- Quaint, clean, quiet and safe for mom, dad, children, grandparents, aunts and uncles too! Rents weekly as full house or separate individual apartment.

Each flat has two bedrooms: one with a full bed the other with two twin beds and living room with a convertible sofa that sleeps 2, to accommodate 6 people per floor - making it an ideal situation for extended families to comfortably vacation together.

Fully equipped kitchens, spacious living rooms offering comfortable... furniture with cable TV, air conditioner and ceiling fan, ceramic tile bathrooms with full bathtubs and showers . The LBI Bauhaus has a sundeck, barbeque grills, picnic tables with umbrellas, chaise lounges, outdoor shower, washing machine and clothes line.

Weekly rentals start at $900 per flat/$1695 for the full house during the peak months of July and August and are reduced to $825 per flat/$1525 for full house during September and October.Read more

Located on Long Beach Island, New Jersey in the town of Ship Bottom just 3 blocks south of the causeway (great for avoiding the long lines of traffic when leaving the Island) -- about 50 yards from the Manahawkin Bay beach and an easy 3 block walk to the ocean. The bay beach is ideal for small children as it is always calm, roped off, well sanded with full time life guards in addition to a fenced in playground. Off street parking for several cars is available on both sides of the house.

Grocery and other convenience stores are located just 2 blocks away in the largest of the Long Beach Island boroughs. Restaurants ranging from family style to gourmet dining offer a variety of cuisines to suit every palate and budget. There's plenty of entertainment for all ages: dance clubs for adults, the amusement park "Fantasy Island" for children, the Surf-Light dinner theatre for live entertainment, mini-golf and arts and crafts to keep idle hands busy.

Recreational Activities: All makes and size of bicycles, tricycles, surreys, a variety of water craft rentals available nearby. Early morning deep sea fishing day trips depart from several points, day cruises to Atlantic City, surfing lessons, yoga classes and several beauty and health spas located within the vicinity to help you relax.

Emergency medical and drugstores are just a few blocks away on the main Boulevard.
