The Duplex Cottages each have an SHORT WALK (150 FEET) TO THE BEACH AND EACH DUPLEX COTTAGE HAS AN UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW OF THE OCEAN !!!...!

This is a fully equipped and ready to go DUPLEX .....Each side has two bedrooms and one bath AND a fully equipped kitchen...You can rent ONE side of the duplex OR you can rent BOTH SIDES and enjoy the entire FOUR BEDROOMS, TWO BATHROOMS, TWO KITCHENS AND TWO SCREENED PORCHES !!!.Just bring your swimsuit and flip flops and get ready to kick back.

.Walk the nice long beach out to Whalehead Cay...Swim in the gin-clear waters and snorkel out to the small islands just offshore or kayak over to them and then go overboard to maybe get a conch or lobster ! Our 4+ acre property is located in a quiet area of the island and is centrally located between the attractions in the north and south making it a perfect place to be while visiting. We have almost 400 feet of ocean frontage on a 2 ½ mile long beach.We live here year round and we want all of our visitors to get a good taste of what it's like to live on the island and to have a good time while here.

If you have any special requests please let us know. If you need some groceries, beer, liquor or soda we'd be happy to pick that up for you so it will be ready upon arrival...nothing like a nice cold drink after a day of travelling.

Long Island, Bahamas is the REAL Bahamas ! Only 3,000 people on the island means you will find the solitude you are seeking. Beautiful Gin-Clear waters and pristine DESERTED beaches await you. Our property is quiet and peaceful. Enjoy tropical breezes at the beach or on your screened-in porch while sipping a tropical drink. The beach is right out front about and is about 2.5 miles long ! Odds are you won't see another soul on the whole thing. You can snorkel right out front and see lots of coral and fish as well as octopus! Ya just never know what you will see.

The Rate FOR EACH SIDE IS $125 per night is for ONE BEDROOM/2 PEOPLE........ 2ND BEDROOM IS $75/NIGHT. MAXIMUM OF FOUR PEOPLE/SIDE. RENT THE ENTIRE DUPLEX (4 BEDROOMS) FOR $300 PER NIGHT. (50% DEPOSIT WITH BOOKING AND BALANCE 90 DAYS TO ARRIVAL)

Cancellations - WE REALLY HOPE THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN BUT.....Since Long Island is pretty isolated, you will be responsible for the rental period when you book it

  A true get-a-way!

  From the moment we landed, to the moment we left, George took care of every detail!
  
  If you are looking for a true get-a-way - this is the place. A busy day at the beach might include seeing 1 or 2 other people, otherwise you have every beach to your self! There is plenty to enjoy on the beach in from of Wymmsicalwish or take a drive, there are secluded beaches down every dirt road, each with their own unique personality.
  
  This was our second (of many more to come)visit to Whymmsical Wish. We have stayed there with our grown children and it has been throughly enjoyed by all.The guest house comfortably slept all 6 adults and we enjoyed breakfast every morning in the screened it porch. The fully equiped kitchen allowed us to make lunches and snacks to enjoy at the beach. We all were greatful for the wireless access to make sure that things were running well back at the office!

  Long Island is as much about the community as the location. The owner/host made sure we were comfortable so we could experience both. He helped organize so many elements of our trip it's like he was a concierge in another life.
  
  Very comfortable and practical living space and a great base camp from which to enjoy a vacation. We're heading back again in spring 2012.
