Sleeping four people in two bedrooms, this cosy semi-detached cottage is in the market town of Long Melford. Chapel Cottage is a welcoming detached cottage, set back off the high street in the Suffolk town of Long Melford. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and a shower room upstairs. Downstairs is a fitted kitchen with a dining area, and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside, there is a courtyard garden, and off road parking for two cars. With the amenities of Long Melford, as well as a variety of historical buildings and sites, close by, Chapel Cottage makes a wonderful year-round destination.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Loved this cottage it was great to have 2 bedrooms - one for us and one for the 2 children. We only ate in once, other than breakfast, but there was everything we needed to cook. The owners were very helpful and Long Melford is lovely

The owners are very weloming and helpful from initially contacting them to get directions to meeting us when we arrived. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and cosy - does not take long to feel really at home. Ideal location - village is full of good shops, pubs serving great food - lovely to take a gentle stroll to a pub in the evening for a drink before dinner. Tiffins Tea Room is worth a visit. Melford Hall and the Church are also well worth visiting. The gardens at Melford are lovely for just relaxing. Good location to travel to various other place of interest - Aldeburgh, Bury St Edumunds, Lavenham are all easily reached. It was our first trip to this part of the country and we will be going back.

Just returned today from a really enjoyable week in this beautiful cottage. Exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. Enjoyed sitting and reading in the bedromm overlooking the green. Long Melford and the surrounding area is very picturesque with lots of nice pubs and restaurants to visit. Enjoyed the walks to nearby villages as well as the many local interesting shops. Mr & Mrs Bird made us feel very welcome and are genuninely pleased to allow others to share the enjoyment of their holiday cottage. A real home from home.

I stayed at Chapel cottage in November and December whilst looking for a house to purchase in the area. It was really lovely. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. The cottage is so pretty and nicely decorated. It was a great location for exporing the area. I would recommend Chapel Cottage without hesitation.
