Outside there is off... road parking for one car and a garden with furniture. Carn Cottage is ideally placed for walkers and cyclists and the towns of Settle and Skipton are close by.

Also the railway station, situated at the edge of the village provides access to the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway line. The busy market town of Settle is nearby and has many amenities including pubs, restaurants and a public swimming pool. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Our stay at Carn Cottage was very comfortable,clean and well maintained. Host was very helpful and very informative. Good location to use the bus,train,your feet and your car.The countryside is breath taking in this area.

A very comfortable, new, warm cottage for two. Kitchen on small side but adequate. The large bedroom downstairs allows lovely views from up stairs sitting room. Very nice neat and tidy garden. As the cottage is set back from a busy road the traffic noise did not create a problem at all. Very friendly owner who was open to any idea that might improve the cottage. Apart from a coffee pot we couldn't fault it. Excellent for a short stay. The location of the cottage was excellent for visiting the Ribblesdale area with its fantastic scenery and the Forest of Bowlan
The cottage is situated on a busy road although you can't hear the noise from the road. The cottage is quite small in terms of space. It's good for couples but not for family. The bathroom and bedroom are nice. The kitchen doesn't have much storage place. We loved the open fire place.
