This property is a charming, single storey stone built cottage offering comfortable, open-plan accommodation for up to four people. This delightful stone cottage is all on one floor and is located down a quiet country lane on the edge of the village of Longframlington. The property was awarded ‘Silver’ in the North Eastern Tourism Awards in 2006. The accommodation is spacious and furnished to a high standard. The open plan living area has a fitted kitchen, a lovely dining space, and the sitting area has an open fire giving a welcoming and cosy feel to the cottage. There are two charming bedrooms both with en-suite wet rooms. Ther...e is a pretty garden and an added bonus to the cottage is that guests are invited to use the owner’s health club, which is on site. This includes the use of a heated indoor swimming pool and a nine-hole pitch-and-putt golf course.

Amenities: Oil central heating with open fire in sitting area. Electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, TV, DVD player, radio/cassette/CD player, library of books/DVDs. All fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen & hand towels inc. in rent. Free use of owner's on-site health club. Off road parking for 2 cars. Garden with furniture & BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Note: This property accepts a maximum of 4 people. Note: No children under 4 except babes-in-arms. Note: No children under 16 allowed access to leisure facilities after 6pm. Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: In the heart of rural Northumberland lies the charming village of Longframlington, which has the advantage of being situated between the Cheviots and the stunning Heritage Coast. It is an ideal base to see the variety of scenery Northumberland has to offer. Alnwick is only six miles away with its renowned castle, gardens and a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. A 10-minute drive away is Cragside House and Gardens, a National Trust property. Nearby is Brinkburn Priory, a restored Augustinian Priory, which is in a beautiful spot beside the River Coquet. The coast is only 15 minutes by car and has miles of unspoiled sandy beaches to walk along. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  The booking service provided by Sykes was good. The only downside was having to pay two booking fees to stay in the same cottage for two consecutive weeks - a bit unfair.
  The cottage was lovely, clean and well maintained. The onsite bar and pool were great.The location was very peaceful and was a good base to explore the surrounding area.

  A wonderful cottage with everything you will need supplied. Two bedrooms with on-suite wet rooms. Both rooms have a double and a single bed which would accomodate various family numbers. An on site Leisure Centre was very acceptable with free swimming,hot tub,sauna and steam room. There are also a gym,massage and many treatments for a small charge. An ideal place two explore the beauty of Northumberland from.

  The cottage was very well equipped, very clean and
  the owners were most helpful. A bonus was having the use of the leisure facilities free of charge and we made full use of the swimming pool and jacuzzi. Providing you have a car the cottage is an ideal base to explore Northumberland and we can
  thoroughly recommend the Granby in the village for
  excellent food.
