This stunning, stone built cottage is all on one floor and offers comfortable, high standard, open plan accommodation for up to four people. This is a charming property, all on one level and affords a high level of accommodation. In 2006 the property was awarded ‘Silver’ in the North Eastern Tourism awards. Designed to offer spacious, open-plan living, the well-furnished cottage benefits from an open fire to give the room a warm welcoming feel. The kitchen area is well equipped and there is a comfortable dining area. The two bedrooms are tastefully decorated and both have en-suite wet rooms. The property has wonderful countryside... views. Outside is a garden with furniture and barbecue. Guests have the added bonus of being able to use the owner’s on site health club. The facilities include an indoor heated pool, a nine-hole pitch-and-putt golf course, a gymnasium and steam rooms, giving guests an ideal way to relax after an arduous day’s exploring.

Town: Longframlington is a charming village that lies between the Heritage Coast and the Cheviots and gives access to many outdoor pursuits including walking, golf and much more. The enchanting hill town of Rothbury is home to Cragside House and Gardens, a National Trust property. There are miles of sandy beaches to explore on the coast only a 15 minute drive away from the village itself. Alnwick is nearby with its renowned castle and famous gardens - an historic town that is well worth a visit. With its restored Augustinian priory, Brinkburn has a beautiful setting and is only a short drive away through some spectacular, Northumbrian scenery. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  What a view

  The cottage was superb, quite spacious and with 2 ensuites and large bedrooms couldn't ask for more. The location enabled us to have good views everywhere we travelled - such pretty countryside. Having a leisure centre on the site was an added bonus and we took the opportunity to enjoy a morning swim. There was a restaurant on site too but we ate out as we visited the district and various National Trust sites, English Heritage etc. and only needed tea when we came home. Very handy for alnwick Castle & Gardens - well worth a visit.
  
  We enjoyed watching the lambs playing in the field by the cottage and also the "woodland" walk in the grounds. The village shop was well stocked and everybody treated us as long lost friends. A typical "northern" attribute!
