This semi-detached cottage is in the village of Longnor, sleeping six people in three bedrooms. Millward House is set in the heart of Longnor and makes a wonderful period holiday base from which to enjoy the delights of the Peak District. This cottage sleeps six people and has three bedrooms consisting of two double bedrooms, one of which is on the second floor, one twin bedroom, as well as two family bathrooms, one on the first floor and one on the second floor.     Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

      Fantastic cottage

      We have just got back from a fantastic week. The cottage was like home from home very well equiped and big bedrooms and bathrooms. Beds comfy and cottage spotlessly clean.
      Longnor is a lovely village the locals are very friendly and it has a village shop that's very well stocked. It's a shame that there was only 1 good pub in the village, 2 had shut down and another one was up for sale which just had no atmosphere in. Can thoroughly recommend the pack horse inn pub down the road fantastic food. Unfortunately the fish and chip shop in village was shut until our last day so didn't eat from there.
      We had snow while we was there and didn't venture out too far that day but the cottage had a selection of Dvds, free view, books and games to keep us entertained.
      Our only negative was that no wifi as we do like to look up places to visit and nearby resturants on our iPad while we're there. Mobile phone reception isn't brilliant around Longnor but we liked that we felt we could truly switch off and relax!
      Feel sad to be back will defiantly return!

      A very well located house in the middle of a village. Handy for visiting Buxton/Bakewell/Chatsworth etc and also very good for walking/cycling. Very friendly locals! House well equipped although we did have a problem with the oven tripping the electricty, hopefully this has been resolved. Very spacious bathroom on the top floor and it was good to have two bathrooms.

      The property was very clean and furnishings were of high quality. It was well positioned for the peak district and a good venue for walkers.

      A wonderful holiday in fabulous cottage is gorgeous scenery

      The accomodation was perfectly appointed. Two couples holidaying together had a fllor each for bedroom and bathroom and a sitting room each should the need for peace and quiet arise.

      Ideally located for both the Staffordshire Moors and The Derbyshire Dales.

      The village has 4 pubs, a fish and chip shop, a cafe and 2 general stores. Most sampled and no complaints.

      People incredibly friendly.

      Would thoroughly reccomend to all, Walkers, Explorers, Stately Home Visitors alike.

      The cottage was easy to find and in an ideal location to see the surrounding towns and the countryside. The cottage was very spacious, very clean and exactly as described on the website.
      The location is quiet and absolutely beautiful and the rest of the village were very welcoming. The owner was extremely helpful with any queries that we had.
      A couple of small suggestions would be to leave instructions for the open fire in the living room and to inform guests about the lack of mobile reception. Apart from that I would definitely recommend this property
