Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

From the moment we arrived at the cottage the owners Janet and Daryll were so welcoming and helpful. They were always there when we needed advice or help and very discreet if we wanted privacy. The dogs were also welcomed and we were made to feel home from home. The views from the cottage were breathtaking and the size of the rear garden, just for our use, was so unexpected. The cottage was very well equipped, and we couldn't think of anything that was not supplied. The added bonus of a groundfloor bedroom and bathroom was fantastic as we didn't have to leave the dogs at night.
Longnor is a lovely village and you can get home cooked food in the local pubs.Make sure to try the steak roll and steak and ale pie in Ye olde cheshire cheese inn, we returned several times. And the walk back up the hill to the cottage certainly helps to work off the calories.
Within a short drive there are many walks and enough to keep you occupied for many days. If we needed any advice on places to visit then Janet and Daryll were happy to suggest the best places to go that were dog friendly.
All in all we loved every minute of this holiday and the only down side to it was that we had to come back home! -

Couldn't fault this property. it was very closy, clean and well equipped, beautifully decorated too with lots of local information and tourist attraction ideas. Shame we couldn't stay longer.

The little kind gifts that the owners had waiting for us on arrival,milk, tea, juice etc were a nice thought. The accommodation was of a very high standard. The location was very peaceful with lovely views over the country side. Plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the lovely view while you eat your meal.

A most enjoyable stay in every possible way. Excellent accomdation, idealy situated so that we were central to a range of visits and experiences.
Very friendly owners who were attentive to our needs and eager to help. Consequently it proved to be the holiday we needed in a beautiful setting which proved once again that few places in the world can match the varity and richnes of the British Isles.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner and after that nothing was
too much trouble. The home was ideal for us and met all of our needs
and more. The views were fantastic and with a small camp site a little
way down the road our parents were able to stay nearby and meet us
for meals.

Met by friendly owners, this cottage was a great holiday home for our family.The house was warm, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, and extras such as dvds, books and games. The location was quite remote so we felt we were getting away from it all but close enough to lovely towns and theme parks for the children to have a great time.The views were magnificent although it was October so pretty windy and we werent able to be outside the cottage much as it was quite exposed. we would definately return
