What a wonderful vacation! My husband and I stayed for a week in this beautiful home. As soon as we waked in the door we were in love with this property. You are greeted with a lovely indoor garden area, unexpected and a wonderful welcome. The bedroom was spacious and the whole house was very well equipped. We had everything we wanted. I love this area, the beach was perfect - sandy and quiet. For a litle more activity visit the wine bar or the fabulous coffee shop (amazing breakfast). We went into the town several times and really enjoyed eating, shopping and even fishing with the locals. Wonderful, memorable vacation. Can't wait to return!

We loved this villa by the sea. It has everything you could want down to a washer and dryer to spices in the kitchen. The house was quiet, comfortable, private inside a secluded courtyard with a fountain, the rooms were decorated beautifully. It's location, a walk thru amazingly landscaped courtyards down to a white sand beach with palapa's, was delightful. We had full access to the hotel's pool and hot tub nearby. I would highly reccomend this to my friends and family.

If you want to get away from the hustle of the normal hotel scene in Mxico then Loreto is for you. You can find warm and crysatal clear waters. Great a one stop lite town, no traffid, with a handful of very good resturants, and where renting a car is a must. Then Loreto should be your next vacation spot in Mexico.
It was nice to get away from the hotel scene and be in your own luxury villa. -

My family loved our stay at Casa Iluminada! As others have already mentioned, the beds are very comfortable and the view is very nice. Felicia and the onsite support staff were very helpful as well. We'd definitely return to Loreto Bay and Casa Iluminada.

This was my husband's and my second stay in Loreto Bay. We stayed at the Inn over the 2011-2012 holidays, fell in love with the place and decided to look at purchasing a home. We decided to rent a villa home to "try before we buy."
We chose Felicia's house because the location was so central, on the main "Paseo," close to the hub of activity on teh "oval", and it looked very nicely decorated and well-maintained. It was also the "Bohemia" model we are interested in. We were not disappointed.
From the moment we stepped inside (AC and music on ahead of our arrival) we felt right at home. The house feels spacious, everything really was very nicely maintained. Starter amenities were provided including soap, shampoo and paper goods (toilet paper, tissues, napkins) so we didn't need to worry about these initial supplies. The great room and bedrooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. Felicia put some thought and work into this second home! The two king size beds are beds are comfortable - the sheets are soft! The kitchen is very nicely stocked with almost every piece of cookware, storage and tableware imaginable. A variety of condiments are available, spices, etc. Like everyone before us we added a few food items! The house was very clean; even the sofas and pillows - everything is in working order. The patio/garden, the outdoor shower, the viewing tower, everything was better than the photos. Felicia even sacrifices her massive walk-in closet in the second floor master BR to her guests - this closet is a rarity at Loreto Bay and even more rare that it is open to guests! Felicia and Dawn, the property manager also provided rather detailed information about local places to go, things to do and other important resources.
We felt "at home" as soon as we got in and keep commenting on how comfortable and amazing the house is.
Loreto and the surrounding area speaks for itself - a small, unspoiled touch of paradise. -

I recently rented the house in Loreto Bay from Felicia and absolutely loved it. The house and the development are beautiful, very well maintained and quiet. I found that the house lacked nothing. Great kitchen, lots of space, in-house laundry and a convenient outdoor shower, great for washing off after a day at the beach. There is a nice convenience store, a wine bar and a cafe within walking distance. The beach is also within walking distance and the bay is very serene. The actual town of Loreto is right up the road, is very quaint and offers opportunities for adventures and exploration of any kind. All in all, two thumbs up. I will return for sure.

Left on 05/04/2012 for a stay in April 2012
We stayed at one of the houses which was owned by Felica. We had a incredible week there. The house was so nice and inviting and beautiful! The bed was so comfy and we slept like babies! We had contacted the owner for some questions and we got email back from her right away! What kind of service is that? Amazing!!! She is on top of it. The house was just 8 houses away from the hotel which offers 3 meals and more. Very convenient location.
We went snorkeling everyday at the Nopolo point and got to see so many fish, including needlefish, parrotfish and I got to see a lobster for the first time!
It is magical place and this house made it possible for us to just relax and enjoy the every minutes of our vacation! Thanks Felicia, you are the best! :):):) -

Left on 04/18/2012 for a stay in April 2012
The house is super spacious, everything in excellent condition, and the most centrally located, being close enough to the small store, wine bar/bistro, coffee shop for breakfast, and short walks to places for dinner. The beds are comfortable, top-of-the-line kitchen appliances, and an excellent outdoor built-in BBQ/kitchen.
We loved waking-up to our own private jungle-like garden with gurgling fountain and beautiful birds stopping by for a drink. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace and patio outside the other bedroom door. Waking up in the morning and looking at the views of the mountains in one direction and the sea in the other was amazing. We miss the lovely azure sky! (PS: the tower is amazing!).
We have wonderful memories from a great vacation.

Left on 03/28/2012 for a stay in March 2012
Spent two weeks here in mid March 2012 with another couple. Home is modern, clean and well equipped with like-new appliances, comfortable beds etc.
Felicia and Jon were most attentive pre and post as well as during our stay. Our email were responded to quickly answering our multitude of questions. The property manager's is a short walk away and they promptly attended to our needs. Location is most convenient - mini-mercado,hotel, a limited number of shops and the golf course (they stored our clubs) all within walking distance. The lovely town of Loreto is a 15/20 minute drive away. -

We had an absolutely wonderful long vacation in Loreto! John and Felicia's villa is beautiful yet comfortable, and provided easy access to all local amenities. It's spacious and allows for relaxing with family or friends. We stayed in other villas that were missing little details, but they thought of everything here!
We also appreciated all the information about local restaurants and services. They helped us feel so much more prepared and informed.
Thanks again! We'll be back, and highly recommend this villa! -

Left on 09/29/2011 for a stay in September 2011
We stayed in your lovely villa. We really enjoyed it! We both really liked the building, the whole of Loreto Bay is very well designed and cleverly thought out, and the atmosphere was just so relaxing. It was so warm when we were there and the rooms cooled down very quickly when we needed them to. We had some great scuba dives, and even the snorkeling right out by the rock was pretty amazing!
I have stayed in a handful of other places and frequently they clear out any food etc left by former tenants. But it is so much appreciated when there is salt and pepper already there, not to mention all the other useful things. That was thoughtful.

We were there from June 23rd to July 13.
The house was more than we ever expected!!!
Love the layout!! You can lay outside upstairs and watch the stars at night. The bedrooms were perfect, the master room had a TV, King bed, nice big shower and was huge. Lots of room in the family room, and the kitchen has great appliances. The other bedroom was as big and included a shower and huge jet tub. The courtyard, when you walk in is well maintained and has a beautiful fountain.
The area is perfect and there is security there all the time. You always feel safe. Everyone around Loreto Bay, and surrounding area was so helpful and nice. The Hotel at Loreto Bay was fantastic. The pools, the swim up bar, and the food was great! Coconut shrimp, chicken parm., all entrees and lunch. The best Tortilla soup out of the 4 places I've tried it in Baja.
The beach is nice and you can kayak around the big rock.
My family and I are definitely going back to Felicia's, she's super nice it was a perfect holiday. Felicia was always very helpful in providing info, and insuring our trip would be fantastic.
Thanks for everything Felicia!!!

If you are looking for a very quiet beach and a very nice, big and modern house, this is the place for you. Loreto Bay is a good place to get away from throngs of people...right out your door is a totally empty beach and laid back resort with all the comfy amenities. Not good if you are looking for excitement or nightlife! The is truly the place to get away from it all and just take in the natural beauty of the desert and the Sea of Cortes. We will definitely go back.

Felicia's and John's home is a gem set amidst the homes of Loreto bay. This was our first trip there and we thoroughly enjoyed the home and the amenities. The internet was very reliable and the TV had an incredible number of channels. The second story patio is great if you are a sun worshipper; there is not much shade during the afternoons. The neighbors are friendly and we enjoyed meeting people as we walked the community. All in all, a great experience.

The house is spacious, attractive, spotless, and comfortable, with great access to beach and multiple activities. We especially enjoyed hiking, scuba and snorkeling, and fishing.
