A magical place in a superb setting

Left on 05/01/2013 for a stay in April 2013

The planning of the residential development which this unit is part of is absolutely outstanding. The residential units represent a wide variety of architectural designs, mainly with a Spanish/Mexica flavor, featuring a wide variety of wall colors. The development is oriented around a pedestrian theme with individual buildings connected by a series of very attractive stone paved walkways accented on all sides by colorful plants such as bougainvillea, hibiscus, jasmine, gardenias, desert rose, and other flowering plants along with a variety of palms and cactus. There are a series of small plazas with fountains distributed within the development that come as a surprise when exploring the netwalk of walkways. This unit is totally delightful; it is spacious with a well designed interior with a Mexican flavor. We spent many lovely evenings up on the ample second level terrace where the only sounds were from the local orioles and the waves on the beach to the east. Several small restaurants and a wine cellar are within a short walk from the unit.

      Hawaii-like, but Closer!

Left on 02/28/2013 for a stay in February 2013

This place is a piece of Hawaii, closer to home. Beautifully landscaped development with top notch maintenance. Good place for someone concerned about not knowing the Spanish language or Mexican customs. Take a drive to San Javier mission, the drive lets you experience the mountains. It was pretty windy when we were there, so we kayaked in the estuary around the golf course. The kitchen has everything you need and our bed was super comfy. The development is very quiet for sleeping.
My only caution is if you will not see the authentic Mexico, and you have a short drive to get into Loreto proper.
As a city planner, I wanted to see this planned resort community designed by andres Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk.

      Amazing!!!

Left on 02/19/2013 for a stay in September 2012

My Husband and I stayed here for 10 days! We had the best time! The house was gorgeous! We stayed in the Honeymoon suite! Giant romantic tub in the bathroom ! Big comfy bed, with a great deck for BBQ and getting some sun!
The kitchen downstairs is perfect for entertaining and if you forgot something in town there is a little market just around the corner to grab extras!
Lets talk about the Beach! Short walk, and your there! Gorgeous!!! Palapa s on the Beach and you can go on a paddle board tour or relax on a raft! The resort next door also has a pool if you prefer and you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner, and they have cocktails delivered at the beach! There is also a golf course if that's your thing! Overlooking the ocean it's a sight to see! You can snorkel, go to Tabor Canyon for a hike or hop on a Fishing boat for the day! Town isn't far and you can hit some local restaurants, or do some shopping!
There is everything you can hope for! We truly had the best vacation here, I highly, highly recommend staying here for your next vacation, I know we will be back next year!! Thanks Cambria for a amazing adventure!

      Mexico's Finest

Left on 11/29/2012 for a stay in November 2012

I stayed in this beautiful home before and enjoyed it just as much as before, but it seems to be getting better. The gardens are lovely and lush. The home is beautifully appointed with every amenity that anyone could want. Having the hotel so close is an added bonus, so if you don't feel like cooking or going into town, you can eat at the restaurants in the hotel or many of the cute bistros on the Pasao (main road of the community). The golf course is top rated with me. Then there's the beach so close and with every water toy you can imagine. The one thing about the town of Loreto that you notice right away is how friendly and happy the locals are. There is no crime in Loreto or in the village of Loreto Bay. You meet people from all over the world who are there to relax! I will go back every year of my life!!

      Enchanting

Left on 06/05/2012 for a stay in April 2012

A beautiful and inviting home with every amenity you could ask for or need. The interior was beautifully decorated with Mexican art on the walls. Each bedroom was decorated with lovely linens and bedding. The house and surrounding homes were surrounded with beautiful gardens. The beach was very close and enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding with house furnished equipment. I have not stopped talking about the most wonderful and relaxing vacation I have ever taken. The town of Loreto is a very enchanting place with many great restaurants and shops.

      Beautiful Home

Left on 06/01/2012 for a stay in April 2012

Cambria, Your home is beautifully appointed with wonderful Mexican art and furniture. We enjoyed our stay with the beach right in front with many toys to rent. We loved how quiet it was and met many american couples at the pool. The bed was especially comfortable and with the added convience of a washer and dryer, it made our stay very comfortable. Thank you for your great suggestions of where to eat, buy food and see the sights.
      Yours in Hospitality,

Left on 03/28/2012 for a stay in March 2012

Tranquility and peace were the cornerstones of our stay. The pace here is anything that you want it to be. The guide provided for dining and activities were spot on and we enjoyed most of them. The common property was one of the nicest landscaped projects that we've seen.

      Fantastic Property, People and Location!

Left on 02/17/2012 for a stay in January 2012

The first morning we were greeted by dolphins swimming within 20 feet of the shoreline. How can you beat that? The home was beautiful and the location was excellent. Furnishings were attractive and comfortable. The kitchen had everything one could need to make a complete meal - including and electric juicer (Love that fresh OJ!) and the grill on the deck. Easy access to the beach, pool and golf course. Loreto was a very short drive away for grocery shopping and restaurants. That being said, Nopolo has all the conveniences that you could possibly wish for without driving. From the "Fresh Market" to the "The Wine Cellar", the restaurants at the Hotel and Golf Course, Evan's store and Cafe Corazon with their tasty Spanish Frittata. The most fantastic part of the trip was meeting the people in Nopolo and in Loreto. The worst part of the trip was leaving - we didn't want to go home.

The bay and surrounding area was off the chart.

Left on 01/27/2011 for a stay in August 2010

We arrived with a very short ride from the airport to a spectacular condo complex located only steps from beautiful Loreto Bay. There is also a beautiful golf course and hotel within a hundred yards of the condo. It includes a beautiful outdoor pool and bar. The bay is beautiful. We fished and saw many sights nearby. The people of Loreto are very welcoming and genuinly show they are glad you are there. We felt welcome and safe. We will definately go back to Loreto and stay at the condo. The value is great compaired to todays cost of travel.

Loreto and Sea of Cortez for Best Vacation!

Left on 01/19/2011 for a stay in January 2011

Your home is just as described, but better. Well stocked kitchen made for easy eating in. All the amenities were just as you said. The weather was beautiful and the home was located close to beach for lots of sunbathing. The pool was the best! We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in Loreto Bay. Rented kayaks on the beach and enjoyed the Inn's bar and good food. Will stay there again soon we hope.
