As you walk through the massive wood doors, you enter a new world. Your own tranquil retreat. The inner courtyard is quite simply magical. The sound of center fountain brings a calmness immediately into the home. You look up at the beautiful Loreto sky and smell the flowers and know that your vacation has begun.

From the courtyard, you can sit for morning coffee and read the paper, or spend the afternoon with your ice cold cerveza. The decorative windows let the fragrant air and Mexican sunshine flow in.

The floor to ceiling glass French doors open off the courtyard into the main great room. With its high beamed cei...lings and openness to the courtyard, it is the place you will want to curl up with a book or cup of coffee and bask in the peace that you’ve discovered here. The large sofa and loveseat are comfortable, and the TV and DVD a comfortable respite when the cool desert evenings bring you back inside.

The large kitchen is well appointed with hand painted Mexican tiles, high end appliances, and beautiful kitchen window that allows the fragrant flower blossoms to enter. Another large window opens directly onto the courtyard. The dining room can easily accommodate 6 people with its large iron chandelier to light the evening.

The bedroom on the main level opens off the courtyard. You immediately walk to the French doors across the room to discover your own tiny courtyard – how charming. Of course the king bed is luxurious as are the linens and unique furnishings. And the large bathroom right off the bedroom is utterly charming with the large soaking tub, double sinks, and huge shower – all done in beautiful hand painted Mexican tiles.

But on to the upper level! The flowering vines wrap around the iron handrails and you are delighted with the Mexican tiles of all different colors on the stair risers. As you arrive on the upper level, the views of the mountains overwhelm you and you have to stop to drink it in for a moment.

You see the wall of large floor to ceiling French doors and enter the upper suite. A very spacious room with lots of storage and beautiful Mexican furnishings. The large bathroom with soaking tub, double sinks, and large shower is beautiful – and the special touches like the decorative window in the shower is such fun. The large king bed is situated with views outside as well as having electronics for those hoping to catch a good movie.

The upper deck has great views, with two lounge chairs and seating for four around a table as well. This is where you will come for cocktail hour! The large gas BBQ and prep sink create a great place to grill up your freshly caught fish and you can’t wait to try it out.

But the black iron spiral staircase going up even further draws your attention! As you climb into this wonderful viewing tower, you can see so far around you. What a great hideaway this is!

  We loved the hacienda we stayed at, they are beautiful, each bedroom has it's own private bathroom.You have everything you need in the hacienda, tv, vcr, movies, hair dryer, coffee pot and much more. We were in the up-stairs room, that over looked the bay, and what am amazing view. love to set out on the deck and read books and enjoy the sun with our friends. The guys enjoyed going fishing and 4 wheeling.We would walk to breakfast or dinner most days.Great food at the restaurants, and the people were very friendly. Great story: we will not forget, the guys went fishing and caught a fish (tuna) so we took it in to town to a restaurant and they cooked it for us, and wow was it good. We can't wait to go back. Only thing I can say that was not good was that the bedrooms don't have closets, however they do have dressers.
