Vancouver, CanadaAmazing 360 degrees view of mountains and oceans
Left on 06/24/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We stayed at the penthouse for ten days, perfect accommodation for a couple. The pictures on their web page do not do justice to how nice it really is, much better in person. The place is well built and is kept neat and clean throughout. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Teresita the property manager who is a sweetheart. She will take care of anything you may need. We also met the owner Bob and Sue, really nice couple who made sure that everything is OK with us. One day Sue brought us some fish that Bob caught that day, we barbecued it, it was delicious.
The villa is about two blocks away from the ocean, and 15 minutes walk to town. We rented their bikes one day and did some exploring and went to the farmers market. Got some vegies, fruits and authentic tamales. There's a little store around the corner where you can get some groceries and freshly squeezed OJ.
We watched sunrises, sunsets, and stargazed at night. The penthouse is the perfect spot for it. -

We traveled to Loreto for the first time for a week of R &R; and found Bob and Sue's studio villa to be perfect for us. We were greeted upon our arrival by Teresita, Bob and Sue and given the "lay of the land" which was greatly appreciated. The studio had a fully-equipped kitchen with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. We had the entire top floor with lovely views of both the ocean and the mountains. Sunrises and sunsets were the highlights of our day. The pool area was perfect for lounging and also a great place for us to bbq our dinner and talk with other guests of the villa. It was about a 15 minute walk to town for groceries and to get a cocktail which was great because we loved to explore the area. We found Loreto to be a friendly, comfortable town and will definitely be back.

Ottawa, CanadaTruly a Paradise

We enjoyed 4 wonderful days (wish it was longer) at Paradise Villa. Enjoyed the best of both worlds - first-class accommodation in an authentic small town Mexican neighbourhood. The penthouse of the Villa was extremely well appointed and had everthing for a couple. The rooftop views at any time of the day were spectacular (ocean, mountains, sunrise, sunset or just the neighbourhood). The area was safe and everyone we met was friendly. Make sure you visit the nearby grocery (Tienda Las Palmas) just around the corner - just about everything you might need for your stay from a very friendly proprietor. Don't forget to get the freshly squeezed orange juice.
Teresita, the local host, will look after you very well. The pool and poolside area was private and spectacular - especially enjoyable during the hot afternoon siesta time.
If we get the chance, we will be back. -

We extended our stay in Loreto at Bob and Sue's studio villa. The view from the expansive deck is even better than the pictures. The location is ideal - within walking distance to the town square, shopping and restaurants. This is a perfect location for a casual, low-key vacation where you feel a part of the community.

SpokaneTop Spot
Left on 04/14/2011 for a stay in March 2011
We were the first to stay in Bob & Sue's newly finished "Top Spot", a 1-bedroom with a huge tile deck and 360 degree view of the ocean, mountains & city of Loreto, as well as the pool & courtyard below. We felt very safe & comfortable here, went to the market and bought fresh fish, fruits & vegetables and bar-b-qued at the place. Loreto is a quiet, friendly and safe place to visit and I'd highly recommend visiting. Their other units in the complex are also top notch and this would be a terrific family or group getaway. If you live by your cellular phone or are looking for glam and a hot nightlife this isn't the place for you...but the history, ocean and other scenery and a chance to relax on a hammock on our own deck more than made it a terrific place to try. We're ready to go back!
