    Additional Location Information

For a great getaway to hike, fish, play golf, ride ATV's, eat and drink, snorkel, scuba dive, kayak or just relax. this is the place to be....
Loreto has a reputation as an excellent sport fishing location. This is its main tourist attraction, as well as the main source of employment in the area, thus linking Loreto’s economy closely to fishing. There are two well-defined fishing seasons: summer features “dorado” and species like marlin (black marlin, Atlantic blue marlin, striped marlin) and sailfish, which are ideal for the fly fishing; winter fishing features “yellow tail” (jurel) and other species that usually are deep in the sea rocks. In addition to these seasonal species, Loreto's waters are home to other species like snapper and seabass, which are found all year long.[16][17][18] Thanks to this abundance, Loreto has been home of several IGFA records.[19] The two “foundations” of Loreto’s sport fishing are the “dorado” and the “yellow tail” (Seriola lalandi dorsalis). The dorado is the emblematic species of Loreto's warm waters, its season beginning in late May, peaking from July to September, and ending in November, with two important tournaments, in July and September. The yellow tail is one of the strongest species; its season begins in November, peaks from March to April, and comes to an end in late May.

Effortless to rent, was very clean and great location with easy

Never needed any service because everything worked and had no issues. The casita was clean, roomy with a great patio deck for entertaining and "happy hour". Close to golf, pool and beach with a small market a block away which added to the convenience. Loved the mexican feel of the location and the town of Loreto has everything from night life to good restaurants.

Had a really good time !

      Kick Back

The architecture draws your eyes in all directions. The amenities are comfortable. You are only a few minutes from the water and the golf course. The 14th hole par 3 from the elevated tee may be one of the most beautiful and romantic locations on this earth. Seriously, you could take a picnic basket and your sweetheart (along with a long iron and a bucket of balls) to this unbelievable spot for a romantic date. The people are friendly, the fishing is diverse and if you are into scuba the island offers a variety of aquatic life. Plus Kevin makes sure your stay is enjoyable.

      Scuba, golf, fish and fun

Left on 06/07/2012 for a stay in April 2011

Over the last several years I have stayed multiple times and am always delighted with how relaxed I feel while I am there and after I get home. If you lead a crazy life and want to relax and enjoy all that life has to offer Loreto Bay should be in your future plans. Everything is contained on property for the days you just want to kick back and the days you want to fish or scuba it is a 15 minute ride and you are on the water for a wonderful day of sights and hopefully a few bites. Great place and the owners make it easy to use and easier to want to come back again and again.
