The spacious unit is a one bedroom (QUEEN & DOUBLE)beds in large bedroom, one bath with many amenities. Additionally, one bed can be moved into the large living room for privacy.
The studio-style kitchen has a cook top, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee pot. Granite counter tops in the kitchen and breakfast bar. Recessed lighting throughout the unit, with a built-in desk or beauty center with studio lighting. The floors are beautiful hardwood though out. Great apartment on Melrose and Vine, only a few blocks to Hollywood Blvd. My friend and I (from australia) stayed here for a week and had a great time. We were sad to leave. It was close to everything, but far enough from the "touristy" things that we didn't feel swamped by people trying to sell us tours as soon as we walked out our door. It was our own little home away from home.
Clean, functional apartment, mirrors and lighting gave it some character, had all the kitchen essentials, tv, comfy beds, everything we wanted!
Cute little cafe next door, only a few hundred metres to a great supermarket/multiple fast food joints. You can walk to the main tourist area of Hollywood Blvd (I think it was about a 20-30min walk), but there's a bus stop about 50m away that'll take you straight up to Hollywood and Vine (about 5-10min bus ride including all the stops for traffic lights and bus stops), and from there you can easily then catch a train if you want to head downtown.
We found free parking fairly easily in the side streets nearby, just make sure you check the signs for the parking conditions on each street.
We had free wifi and use of the onsite washing machine and dryer, and for the cooler months (like when we were there) the heater did a great job of warming the room.
We had such a great time in the apartment and would definitely stay here again if we ever get the chance to go back.
