If you desire a stay in la with a homely touch as well as free from hotel routines, receptions and noise - this is perfect. The only caveat is you must have a car (Yeah, you are near to everything but I promise you la is enjoyed with having a car). I wanted such a holiday with my wife and three year old daughter and it suited us perfectly. Oh, park on the side street for free except on Monday between 8am – 2pm.Pass on the offer of paying to park $10 a day for the place opposite.
In regards to booking, it was done online and I only called a day before I arrived. My deposit was returned on time and Deanna handled things very well. Cheers to Deanna.
In terms of location, a well stocked 24 hour supermarket is a 3 minute walk (Drive to Target which is like a big Tesco is 5 minutes), Hollywood star attractions are a five minute drive away, Sunset boulevard is 10 – 15 minutes, the famous la freeway is 10 – 15 minutes away, Airport is 25 to 30 minutes and shops.
The apartment has a nicely sized bedroom, big sitting room with TV that has lots of cable channels and the kitchen (joined with sitting room) has a big fridge freezer and 4 burner electric cooker. You can only imagine our joy at knowing we had use of the washer/dryer located at the side of the flat. Towels are provided as well as bed linen. Space for storage is very massive (we had space to have all our buys everywhere). Nearly forgot to mention the free Wi-Fi that worked perfectly on my mobile phone, laptop and Ipad.
We found the location super and the feeling of being at home even better.
