We were 6, 2 couples and 2 kids. We had each our room. The house is everything you need it to be, a relaxed and at the same time a party house, everything you need is there. We really Loved our stay. The house is a private resort by itself, almost no neighbors, peace and quiet, the view is amazing, there the pool, the Spa, we played basketball and tennis everyday. the kids and the adults loved it..There is even a beer tap outside...the guys were enjoying that. I cannot give this house any bad reviews, it was clean, we had every kitchen tools you can think of available. The ovens are really long to cook anything in, but we had time...were on vacation :) I will be returning there for sure. I would recommend this place to everyone

I travelled to the Bella Vista with my husband and 2 grown up children for 1 week at the end of May this year. We had an absolutely fabulous time at the house. It is just as described and more-it is beautiful, with plenty of room for everyone.
The owners, Nancy and George were really friendly and helpful. They supplied folders with information about the house and maps/directions to the local shops and sights. The hot-tub is really relaxing after a day sight-seeing and the pool is lovely, although a little on the cold side. My husband loved the BBQ and my son was very impressed with the fire pit and the massive TVs. We would definitely recommend the Bella Vista to family and friends and would love to return for another visit. -

Myself, my husband our daughter (15) and three of our friends stayed at Bella Vista for a week following a road trip. Nancy and George Lyddane are very welcoming hosts very friendly and helpful. The house is wonderful, it is both homely and luxurious. All six of us enjoyed our stay and I certainly would go back in a heart beat. The pool is large the grounds well cared for, it is very well positioned looking down over the valley as it does whilst not being far away from la attractions.
If you are thinking about renting a holiday home in la then you will not be dissapointed with this one. -

If there was a way to give a thousand stars, I would do so! From the beginning of our stay to the end, the owners were kind and very helpful. The pictures don't do it justice, it was more than I imagined! Each bedroom is cozy and comfortable and the bathrooms were great, especially with so many girls! The outside grill was great for our cook-out and the house gives you a relaxing atmosphere. The owners are super friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of!
The house is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, but close to major shopping areas and the highway. It was very conveinent getting from place to place in downtown la.
The house is amazing, the owners are the best ever! I couldn't recommend this place more! If you have the chance to stay, book it, you won't regret it, the only problem is that you don't want to leave. -

I went to Los angeles, California last March with my husband and my three children who are 18, 15, and 13. This beautiful home is what made our vacation, perfect for sleeping, spotless kitchen, and a spectacular backyard; with a swimming pool, hottub, and outside bar/grill. The view of Los angeles in the backyard was the most remarkable part though, you can see the whole city and the mountains in the far distance. It's location is perfect, you have a ton of privacy, but the city is right there! This california home is large enough to accomidate our entire family comfortably and luxuriously.

The house is spotless, spacious and well laid out. We enjoyed the open floor plan of the family room and the modern kitchen which has high end appliances. The bathrooms are modern and have jacuzzi tubs. The grounds are beautiful and include a pool, a sports court, a hot tub and an.outdoor kitchen/barbecue area.The view is spectacular and the home is well located, near museums, shopping and not far from the beach. It's a comfortable home to live in with the feel of a vacation resort.

My wife, several friends and I took a vacation to Southern California to escape winter in Colorado. What an absolute delight this beautiful home was: elegant living areas, kitchen with a splendid view, excellent landscaping, fantastic views of the mountains to the northeast.
The J. Paul Getty Museum is only a few minutes away. You can spend a day there enjoying great art, photography, and architecture.
This is an excellent luxurious rental home, close to everything in northern Los angeles, Hollywood, and beaches not far away.Response from Bella Vista - 11/23/2010

House is situated on a bluff with panoramic views of the valley. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with cul de sac location. Great house for relaxing - pool and hot tub in a private back yard. Played horse with the kids on the basketball court. We really enjoyed the kitchen and family room - they open out to the back yard. The house has three private bedroom suites. We drove to the Getty in 5 minutes. Wonderful close-in location
