Studio City is the priemer location for access to all Los Angeles has to offer, particularly the Studios, Beverly Hills, Hollywood and Universal Studios! Located in the lush Hollywood Hills our fabulous serene retreat is located south of Ventura Blvd (on a quite Cul De Sac street) in the trees and canyons, yet walking distance to all the blvd has to offer. Shops, restaurants (more Sushi Bars per capita this side of Toyoko!), services of all kinds and less that a mile from CBS Studios where just about everything on TV is shot. Additionally, the Farmers Market is in the heart of Studio City each Sunday morning and is the best rated and most successful in Los Angeles. Just take a cart and walt to pick up you fresh fruit, vegitables, baked goods, gourmet meats, flowers - anything you like!
Universal Studios is about a 1 1/2 have away. The Metro Rail is across the street from Universal, so you can take it to Hollywood (only 3 miles away!) and see all the sights including the Kodak Theater, the Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood Blvd and all the rest. Or all the way downtown (about a 10 minute ride) to the Staples Center for a lakers game, or LA Live & the Nokia Theater for any number of events or restaurants.
Santa Monica is about a 30 minute drive, Malibu about 45 minutes if you want to go to the beach, Century City, Beverly Hills and Rodeo Dr are a short hop over the Hollywood Hills that will take about 15 minutes.
Golf and Tennis are within walking distance at the Weddington Golf and Tennis Center and many many other attractions are close by including the L A Zoo, Gene Autry Western Muesum, Steam Train Muesum, Griffith Park, and the Griffith Observatory are all just 15-20 minutes away!
