This extremely spacious home located on a double lot is nestled high in the trendy Silverlake Hills, yet only a five minute walking distance to restaurants, dry cleaners and fine markets. There are spectacular greenbelt views of Griffith Park and the Los Feliz Hills, home to many of Hollywood’s matinee idols.
The house is located on a quiet street and has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an office and a large deck with table and Barbeque. All appliances are state-of-the-art. This home is nestled in the Silverlake Hills where you can enjoy the adventure and fun activities of nearby Griffith Park while being only a 10 minute commute from Downtown Los Angeles. Silverlake is a very quiet and safe upscale hillside community that offers you a unique city-designed jogging trail that goes around the beautiful Silverlake reservoir. The run from the house through the hills around the lake and back makes for a perfect yet challenging 5-K run! There is ample parking on the short looping street where the house is located with the added option of using the attached 2-car garage. A Gelson's Market and Trader Joe's is located only a short 10-minute walk from the house, but beware of those hills when returning with your bags of groceries! There are also plenty of nearby fine dining locations as well as a great pizza/pasta stand located down the street on Hyperion and Griffith Park Blvd. And don't forget to take advantage of all the outdoor activities that are offered to you in nearby Griffith Park, including Tennis, golf, horseback riding, hiking and the famous Griffith Park Observatory. Griffith Park is also home to the Los Angeles Zoo and Travel Town, a collection of old, decommissioned trains that are an endless source of wonder for kids of any age.

Our group of 8 was visiting Hollywood for a weekend, but even with 8 adults we had enough room to spread out through the house so that we never felt cramped. The balcony stretches across the back of the house with a high-end gas grill and a gas fire-pit/table. We spent most of our time at the house sitting out on the deck and looking over the garden. The house is ten minutes from Hollywood Blvd but you wouldn't know it judging from the unspoiled views or the quiet neighborhood. Checking in, parking, commuting: everything about this rental ran smoothly and allowed us to enjoy our time in la with a stress-free environment to come home to. Everyone in our party agrees it is nicer than staying in a hotel room.
This is a very nice house, and it would be a lovely place to come home to. -

We rented the Silverlake house in June, 2012 and the house was awesome. Thad was extremely easy to work with; no hassle and very quick responses.
We were a party of four adults and 3 children and we had more than enough room. The paths in the backyard were a hit with the kids and with the adults. House was very clean. Views were amazing. Neighboorhood awesome! Very trnedy and a Trader Joes and other restaurants/stores were very close by. I wanted to pack the whole house in my suitcase and bring it home with me! ;-)
I would definitely rent this house again!! -

Es ist ein typisch amerikanisches Einfamilien-Haus in einer sicheren Gegend, sauber, großzügig eingeteilt, mit Terrasse und ausblick auf die Hügel von Silver Lake und das Griffith Observatory. Wir waren beruflich in L.A. - aber das Haus ist bestimmt auch hervorragend für Familien geeignet! Durch die günstige Lage ist man mit dem auto schnell überall. Zu Fuß erreichbar sind zwei Supermärkte, einige Lokale und Parks. Die Küche im Haus bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt und außer dem Indoor-Esstisch ist auch der Tisch auf der Terrasse groß genug zum Essen. Vom Benutzen des Gasgrillers ist aber eher abzuraten, da dieser sehr stark rostet. Das Haus ist insgesamt sehr gut ausgestattet, Computer, Wifi und Stereoanlagen sind vorhanden, genauso wie Handtücher, Waschmaschinen und reichlich Stauraum für Gepäck. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

This house is in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. I stayed here for work/pleasure and it served both needs very well. Close to downtown and there are lots of great restaurants in the area. I especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine watching the sunset.
