Our private vacation villa on Bali consists of two separate holiday homes, Villa Insulinde and Villa Lumbung, situated on the quiet northern coast of Bali. Villa Insulinde is the larger (6 persons) holiday accommodation, Villa Lumbung a separate and smaller (4 persons) vacation house.

Villa Insulinde is suitable for a maximum of 6 persons, the Lumbung for a maximum of 4 persons. Prices include staff, gas, water, electricity, tourist tax and hotel tax. Transport from Denpasar Bali airport to Villa Insulinde and Lumbung is not included, but can be arranged upon request. During your stay Villa and Lumbung will be cleaned and the swimming pool(s) and garden maintained. Bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided.

On short notice we took this Villa and were really glad we did.. It had everything we needed for our stay..
The staff were amazing starting from Putu our amazing driver who picked us up from the airport..
We gave the Housekeepers 200,000rp ($20)and they managed some amazing meals for us..
At night we had security and during the day we Had the groundsmen and pool guys plus the housekeepers who kept the place so lovely ..Each day we walked to Lovina or took the Bemo, great value.
Day tours with Putu were a pleasure ..We were even taken to meet his family, His wife had made me my favorite Indonesian dish.. Such a nice surprise.
Lumbung is a short walk down the beach to watch the fisherman leaving at night and returning in the morning to sell the catch on the beach.
We walked the beaches and the ricefields.. Went to markets in Singaraja and Serit and beach shopped in Lovina..
All in all an amazing little vacation..
I highly recommend this Villa , the staff and the owners for the thought they put into our stay at Lumbung

We were lucky enough to have booked the smaller villa (villa insulde ?) for a few days during our trip to Bali. We were welcomed by the staff and were blown away from the first step inside the walls of the grounds. It was gorgeous. Well maintained, very clean. Be prepared- the drive from Denpasar was a curvy one and long. After 18 hours of flying, the 3 hours were hard to swallow- but once we arrived- it was worth it. The pictures depict the villa exactly as it is- beautiful. We could not stop praising the villa and the staff during our entire trip. The only two downfalls (minor) were not having meals included with the price. But- we did have the freedom (and fun) to find different warungs and restaurants in the area to enjoy meals. And, the wi-fi wasn't working. Otherwise, A+!

Many tanks for the positive response about our Villa Lumbung (part of Villa Insulinde).
From our website it should have been clear that meals and drinks are not included (as is the case in most private villa's in the North of Bali)
And that the staff is inclusive and will prepare your breakfast, lunch and dinner, will buy the groceries, so only the costs for ingredients and drinks are for own account. However we will make sure this is made clearer on our website.
It is correct that we have had problems with the internet. After 2 years of good service, Indosat, our provider, has let us (and others) down. We have arranged internet via another provider in the mean time now.

After a long journey we were amazed when entering the gate of the villa in the evening. A wonderfully lit courtyard with a beautiful villa and welcoming staff awaited us. Waking up every morning with the sea on our doorstep is something we will never forget. The lovely landscaped garden makes it a serene place to be. The staff took very good care of us. Ketut is a wonderful cook, let her surprise you. Definitely take a driver to show you the different sites in the area. After seeing a few of the other villas on the island, we will definitely be coming back to this one. Everything we needed had been provided for. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
