Beachfront Villa is built facing the ocean with its pebble beach and beautiful coral reef. It has spacious leaving room with wide terrace, master bedroom and guest room, 2 bathrooms, kitchen - all fully-furnished. There is a big pool.The Villa is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden. The villa is quite secluded, but that’s exactly what you need when come to paradise.

It is a peaceful place where you can relax and admire the beauty of the nature with your family and friends, swimming under the stars or walking the beach at sunset.

Massage and yoga class can be organized on your request.

The location gives you the... opportunity to see simple Balinese people in their everyday life.

Dive equipment is possible for rent for diving at the home reef and at the nearest dive sites (the speedboat is available for renting). During the boat trip you can enjoy the spectaculars views of the volcano and beaches from the water. You may also go fishing and try your best in catching Yellow Fin Tuna! There is a great visibility on the house reef, so everyone who does not wish to dive can do snorkelling. You can go to the colourful "pasar" (market) at Les Village on your own and you’ll definitely be the only white person around enjoying the islanders’ warm hospitality. And if you want to explore the region you can rent a motorbike, or we can arrange a car and driver for you. We can organize the trips for you all over Bali. Day trips to magnificent rice terraces shining lush green under the sun, waterfalls and local markets can easily be arranged as well.

SIGHTSEEING

Day # 1

7.00 (5 min drive )

Visit the Traditional Morning Market in Les village (6-9 a.m). Check on the exotic fruits!

8.00 Waterfall in Les Village (5 min drive + 30 minutes walk one way). There is no entrance fee, but they ask for small donation (Rp. 20 000 - 50 000)

Day # 2 (half day trip - an hour drive one way).

Two Water palaces: Tirta Ganga and Taman Ujung in Amplapura area

Tirta Ganga (Water of the Ganges) is the site of a holy temple, some great water features and some of the best view of the rice fields. Nice place to stop for around one hour or so.

Taman Ujung – the last king of Karangasem built this grand water palace, but it was damaged by earthquake. A part of old palace is surrounded by ponds and terraces.

Day # 3 8.30 (pick up)

Rafting on Telaga Waja river. As you float along, you can admire the wild jungles and rice paddies. Dress to get wet and bring something dry for afterwards. The price is from $ 50-79 (discounts are common).

Besakih Temple - the most ancient and most important temple in Bali. In fact, it is an extensive complex of 23 separate-but-related temples. Unfortunately, many people find it disappointing, because the holy place turned out to be a tourist object. There a great number of “guides” who will tell you that you need their service. You don’t. The reason is you might be hit with a huge fee at the end of the tour. Fixed entrance fee is 15.000 Rp.

Day # 4 (pick up 4.30 a.m.)

Volcano hiking (Gunung Batur). Start hiking at 6 a.m. The longest route will take around 2 hours one way. From the top you will enjoy gorgeous sunrise and beautiful views of the lake. Guides will provide breakfast, cooking an egg or banana in the steaming holes at the top of volcano. Bring some warm close with you as it chilly in the mountains in the early morning. Guide service is 400 000 Rp (for a group max 4 people)

Tegalalng Street is a handicraft shops street, where the majority of it made and spread out all over the world.

Day # 5 (day trip)

Monkey Forest. Have a nice walk through the cool jungle with its riverside trails, super-sized trees and moss-covered temples with plenty of monkeys living there.

Bali Bird Park and Reptilarium. The largest and the finest collection of Indonesian birds in the world. 1000 birds of 250 different species, within 2 hectares of botanical garden. Legendary komodo dragon, king cobra, iguanas, crocodiles, turtles…

Ubud is an art center of Bali, its cultural capital. There a lot of galleries, artists’ studious and art shops.

  The most relaxing week of my life

  Our stay started 22nd October 2012. Just two adults 50 yrs of age. We arrived at midnight via a chauffer driven car from the airport. We were glad it was at night as it is a good 2.5 - 3 hour trip. Our driver although very good seemed keen to get home. Or so we thought. Apparently this is how everyone drive is Bali. As long as you have a horn that works all is good. Three cars and often a scooter take up the road which usually would accomodate a very slim one lane each way.
  The Villa is truely a magical place...The moment we entered the front wooden doors it opens up to lush green gardens, lawn and a huge fruit tree that has the richest smelling fruit you could ever imagine. You actually get used to the smell.
  We had prepaid for all of our meals, 3 x daily. Ilou is the most amazing caterer. Eggs, fresh fruit, fresh bread, cereal, banana pancakes for breakfast. She will provide you with what ever you feel like. Lunch was usally a salad or soup.. Dont be fooled, they were huge.. So fresh and again served with fresh bread, cheese and fruit. We asked Ilou to prepare a Balinise dish for us each night. Truely amazing along with a dessert. Nothing was too much effort.
  A daily 1hr massage costing $15 us is not to be missed. The airconditioners cool down the bedrooms so you get a great sleep each night. The beds are very firm but we were both able to sleep with no problems.
  Snorkeling is just a few meters away as it the use of the kayaks. The Bali Seas is at your doorstep and is the same temperature as the air temperature.
  Trip in an airconditioned car are available daily with a bit of notice. You can be taken to the Kings Palace or Water Palaces, Shopping, Local markets or the Rice fields.
  If I wasnt so in love with this place and want to tell every one about it It would be our secret holiday place.
  
  Apart from not having a few basic things availabe at the villa, like a bottle opener or matches for the candles, it is a superb holiday spot.

  Beautiful oceanfront villa in Tembok on the north east coast.

  First villa of our 3 villa, 3 week holiday in Bali. We spent 10 days here at Villa Bali at Tembok, and when our time was up, we truly did not want to leave. The price we paid, of us$135 a day was great value for such nice accommodation. The villa has 2 double bedrooms, both large, comfortable, with airconditioning in each. The comfortable four poster, queen size beds in each bedroom, had canopy over the bed with mosquito netting around if needed. We had no mosquito problems here at all, outside or inside, and the netting was never needed. Off each bedroom there was a large bathroom, with toilet, shower alcove and hand sink. The ocean view bedroom also contained a large sunken bath, but with the beautiful large pool just outside, this wasn’t needed for us. Soap and shampoo were included in each bathroom, along with towels.
  
  The garden view bedroom is off the main lounge/dining/kitchen area, with the ocean view bedroom being off the verandah. Both bedrooms have key locks, along with the main villa doors, which can be locked should you wish. In this quiet, remote part of Bali we never had any security issues and never locked any of the doors. Both bedrooms have a large built in wardrobe with a safe.
  
  The main living area, contained large lounge suite, flat screen tv (no tv reception in this area), with dvd player and a selection of dvd movies in the villa. The owners were more than happy to provide more movies or cd’s should you wish. Next to the lounge was a large dining table made from a cut tree trunk. The kitchen area had large 2 door fridge which easily fitted anything you needed to put in. Kitchen sink and 3 burner gas stove were next along the bench. A 20 litre container of drinking water with dispenser was also on the bench and this was replaced as soon as empty at no charge. Unlimited tea bags, instant coffee and sugar are also provided along with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
  
  Although you could self-cater should you wish, the villa also provides, one, two or three meals per day for those that want to have a completely relaxing holiday. We took the 3 meals a day package at us$15 per person. This was a great for us and the lovely staff would ask what you would like for each meal, within their limits, and what time you would like it brought to the dining table. There is the Poinciana Resort right next door to Villa Bali, but a large wall hides it and keeps the villa private. There was never an issue with noise from the resort and should you wish to try a different option for dining you could try there. There is one other resort, Alamander, about 2km further along the beach. On the street in Tembok, near the villa, there are a couple of small Warung’s that serve simple rice dishes. A number of small local shops within an easy walk, will also ensure you have soft drinks, beers and basic food supplies should you need. We did struggle to stock up on tonic water for our duty free gin brought in from australia. None of the shops sold spirits, except for the local brew, Arak. If you wish to buy up big on spirits, soft drinks, beers, etc then ask the driver on your way up from the airport and he will be more than happy to do a supermarket detour on the way. The drive from the airport takes about 3-4 hours, depending on traffic.
  
  The lovely house girls, Ilu, Made and ani will ensure you are well fed, the villa kept clean and go about it all discreetly. The yard boy kept the pool and garden spotlessly clean twice a day.
  
  The verandah at the back of the villa had 4 large armchairs with comfortable cushions to sit and watch the pool and down the garden to the ocean. Next to the pool were 4 sunlounges and two umbrellas to stretch out with a book and relax. If you need more areas to relax, a lovely little beach bale with thatched roof and vinyl covered mattress was at the edge of the garden on the pebble beach. A nice spot to enjoy the sea breeze and ocean view.
  
  The beach on this part of the coast is not sand, but a mix of pebbles and volcanic rock. There is a reef just a few metres out in the ocean from the villa with a wide array of fish to see. The owners will provide snorkelling equipment, or even scuba gear should you wish. They also have a boat moored just offshore which is also available for hire.
  
  The villa owners, Anna and alex, have 4 villas in total all next door to each other. They include 2 x 1 bedroom, 1 x 4 bedroom and our 2 bedroom villa. Next to us was the 4 bedroom villa, but it wasn’t obtrusive as the garden shields you from it and retains your privacy, and theirs.
  
  I would absolutely recommend these villas to anyone, they are well maintained (something unusual in Bali), tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and just generally beautiful in all respects.
  
  While in Tembok, visit the nearby Les village market and Les Waterfall, a short drive or scooter from the villa.
  
  If you need the tourist facilities, crowds, noise and hustle bustle of the south, then this quiet, relaxing, gorgeous piece of coastline probably won’t be for you. However if you want to enjoy a completely relaxing, warm tropical break from your everyday life, then come on up, you won’t be disappointed.
  
  At the end of our 10 day stay, we didn’t want to leave and look forward to a return visit here in the near future.

  The discription and pictures do not express how homey and wonderful this Villa truly is! The minute we walked into the house, we felt right at home. Every morning, we watched the ocean and had the best massages ever. Our stress went away instantly and we felt very lucky to have found such a peaceful place. The staff took great care of us providing tasty and fresh meals! The owners of the villa gave us recommendations what place of interest we should see. We went to the local market, to the great Waterfalll, climbed the Volcano and did fantastic rafting! We also rented a boat for an hour to see the Island from the ocean - the view was awesome! We did great snorkling on the home reef, this was our first time and it was so excited!Thanks again anna and alex for your warm hospitality.
