Wil je heerlijk relaxen in een prachtig huis wat voorzien is van alle gemakken dan is Villa Lagu de ideale bestemming.
Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en huismanager Wayan , is een topper !,
Hij brengt je naar de mooiste plekjes op Bali !
Laat je heerlijk masseren voor slechts euro 8 en je voelt je herboren.
Het huis voelt als een warm bad! -

I am sitting in a comfortable chair, under a thatched roof staring at the sea. My special needs son (autism) is playing the pool and having yet another wonderful day here.
Villa Lagu is a slice of heaven for a buch of reasons:
-The house sits right on the beach
-The staff is friendly and helpful. Wayan, the manager and driver, took us to his house of a New Year's celebration
-The staff are great cooks and do all the shopping for you
-The grounds are simply beautiful and so well attended to
-The pool is the perfect size and has wonderful chairs and a massage hut
The worst part about Villa Lagu is leaving it. We had so much fun and are so sad to leave tomorrow. We sat around the house a couple days but mostly got out and enjoyed the voluminous number of activities such as snorkeling, hiking to waterfalls, trip to Ubud, trips to Lovina, and dolphin watching.
Book this place, before someone beats you to it!

Villa Lagu is een van de mooiste villas waar ik ben geweest. Onze kamer(s) was geweldig .. zo ruim, met een prachtig uitzicht. Het zwembad was prachtig en de perfecte plek & te ontspannen. Al het personeel was zo attent en behulpzaam het maakte onze vakantie allemaal nog meer bijzonder. Ik heb Bali comfort villas aan mijn vrienden en familie aanbevolen.
Kom zeker weer terug! -

We stayed in Villa Lagu just for one week, but we would have stayed there for much longer if possible. When we arrived we were truly amazed. The Villa is really beautifull, a big garden, nice pool and with a fantastic view. Everyting is and around Villa Lagu is great.
Because the house is bild in a quit area, we advise people to rent a scooter because everything is far a way. It takes about 30 min to get to Lovina. You really need a taxi or scooter to get anywere. Don't forget that you need an international drivers licence even to drive a scooter. Villa Lagu was picture perfect from the time we walked in the door to gorgeous fresh flowers and refreshing drinks until we checked out. The home is very comfortable and spacious, and the outdoor areas are beautful and relaxing. Beinging right on the beach was great as the kids could easily play in the pool or beach at a moments notice. We particularly enjoyed sunrise dolphin watching and getting picked up right on the beach in front of the villa was a nice touch. All of the staff was helpful in arranging activities, massages, and yummy food.

We just came back from our honeymoon in Bali. We stayed at two other places that was nice, but Villa Lagu, the last place we stay, was simply paradise!
We received a very warm welcome from Wajan and the lovely employees. The staf is so nice, they do everything for you!
The location is beautiful, it is really the most beautiful place I can imagine. The villa is amazing, it is perfect. It is so modern and luxurious and the Balinese decoration terrific. The garden is so large and beautiful.
Le village Lovina is lovely, we went to have dinner in Starlight on the beach, it was so romantic. But the most romantic was the dinner on the beach, that the girls organise for us. Perfect romance.
We only stay here for 4 nights but we have seen so much, because Wajan takes us to so many nice place. It was amazing and perfect. We will go back here with our friends next year!

Wij hebben heel erg genoten van al het heerlijke eten en service verlening van de hele staff. Wij konden vragen en alles werd voor ons bereid.Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook de tochtjes welke we met Wajang gemaakt hebben zijn super geweest. Hij bracht ons op hele mooie en leuke plekjes. Het snorkelen was helemaal vet cool. Voor mijn verjaardag heeft iedereen zich enorm ingezet om er een onvergetelijke dag van te maken. Voor de verjaardagstaart dank ik Shirley bij deze nogmaals.Het minst van ons verblijf was dat het strand zo onverzorgd was.Al is het maar een pad. Misschien een puntje van aandacht???

Hartelijk bedankt voor jullie review, het doet ons goed te horen dat jullie het fijn gehad hebben. Wayan heeft het nog meerdere malen over jullie gehad, hij heeft jullie gezelschap als zeer prettig ervaren en veel plezier met jullie gehad, waarvoor nogmaals dank.
Het strand is inderdaad een probleempunt geweest, we zijn een project gestart met de locale school, om de kinderen te leren rommel op te ruimen in de daarvoor bestemde vuilnisbakken. Helaas laat dat nog wel te wensen over. Vandaar dat we besloten hebben zelf elke ochtend het strand schoon te maken, dit is inmiddels gebeurd en het strand is nu altijd schoon, men kan er gewoon gebruik van maken. Het spijt ons dat dit tijdens jullie verblijf niet het geval was, daarom willen we jullie bij een volgend verblijf voor elke persoon een gratis massage aanbieden. My fiance and I stayed here for 7 nights in March before traveling to Singapore for 3-week coursework. To sum it up, I don't think we can go on another vacation again; way too spoiled now!!
The ocean is right outside of the gate yet we mostly stayed by the pool because leaving Villa Lagu's gorgeous yard was hard to do. It rained for a little bit almost everyday for us but it was still very hot all day. Night time cooled down to comfortable temperatures.
North Bali is so perfect for relaxation and genuine Balinese culture. Lovina is filled with plenty of great restaurant/bars but it still quite low key. For those who love the water, we went scuba diving with Spice Dive to Menjangan Island. It had the most diversity of coral I have seen yet and the water is always nice and warm. My fiance didn't even use a wetsuit.
The staff was fantastic. We had two women who did all the cooking (amazing) and cleaning as well as a gardener to keep the pool and landscape in perfect condition. Their English was certainly lacking but they remained attentive and learned quickly. They were there for whatever we needed but also great about giving us privacy. The true saving grace was the manager/driver Wayan who spoke perfect English. Since he picked us up from the airport all the way till he had to drop us back off, he was the best helper and tour guide you could ever ask for. All staff including Wayan were locals of the surrounding poor area and you could tell how much pride they have in holding such a job.
We were extra lucky because Shirley's parents happened to be staying in Villa Danison next door. We got to hear all about the villas' creation and how generous the family is to the Balinese people, especially the staff. I couldn't have rented from more caring people.
I will certainly return to this magical place and recommend this to anyone looking for an exotic, luxurious, or romantic vacation.

Wat hebben wij een geweldige vakantie gehad! Twee weken in Villa Lagu! En wat waren we blij dat wij geen Villa hadden gehuurd in het overbevolkte- en te toeristische Zuiden. Wij en onze kinderen van 11, 14, 20 en 23 hebben genoten. Voor idereen wat te doen. Duiken tussen de tropische vissen, stoere wandeltochten naar de watervallen, trackings door rijstvelden en over bergen met uitzichten die zo mooi zijn dat ze voor eeuwig als een foto op je netvlies staan gebrand.
De verzorging van de staf in de Villa is van een ongekende gastvrijheid. Alles is mogelijk van Indische rijstafel tot pannenkoeken- en tosti's voor de kinderen toe. De chauffeur Katut heeft ons als een echte tourguide bij de hand genomen en dankzij hem hebben wij bali leren kennen. Vanuit de Villa kun je rustig een dagje en een nachtje naar Ubud of het Zuiden. Katut regelt het allemaal. Zorg wel dat je duidelijk aan het personeel aangeeft wat je wel en niet wil. Voor een eventueel volgend bezoek is het wellicht goed om te weten dat alle gasten van onze villa met de villa telefoon naar de supermarkt kunnen bellen om een bestelling door te geven die vervolgens gratis wordt bezorgd. Zo hoef je er zelf niet op uit voor boodschappen.

The Villa and the Staff was mega. The Staff is very friendly and the Food at the Villa is very good.
The location is a bit far from the airport, but if you want a relaxed, quiet atmosphere and a private clean beach then that`s the Place you have to go. The Staff also organize all if you want to dive, need a scooter ...
If you want to go to town its about a 15 min drive. There are a few good Restaurants and Pub`s.
For me the hardest part was to decide if i jump in the pool or in the sea:-) -

The villa Lagu is situated at Segara Beach at the end of a small bumpy field track. It is surrounded by rice fields and a temple complex. Like a piece of paradise on earth! To the Town Lovina it is only 15 minutes drive in the villas own bus. The driver / guide Wayan took us also to the the most beautiful places of Bali. The villa itself is situated in a beautiful garden and has all the luxury you need. The staff members, Devi ,Ciri and Corina do everything for you! Bringing you drinks and snacks during the day and in the evening they make you a delicious diner !! You even can get a massage by Devi on the bale benong near the pool.Super! From the veranda you have a beautiful vieuw over the sea and you can sea the fishermen passing by in their small boats. We even saw dolphins swimming and jumping! We had a very fantastic vacation in villa Lagu, and we are sure going back to this beautiful place and these friendly people!!
