Additional Location Information
At 1 km east of the villa begins construction of Lovina. Here are the terraces by the sea, here you can hear the music at night at the Poco bar. Here you can buy some souvenirs at Chonos an iced coffee drink gives you a cone or fries. At Sea Breeze, you enjoy a cold beer or a cocktail (Euro 3.00) is not Lovina Sanur and Kuta certainly not. There are many hotels and home stays but it remains a Balinese village. Lovina will surely tempt to get away to go to a chat on the terraces and some souvenir shops to visit. Lovina is a relaxed town with lots of shade from large flowering shade trees. The palm lanes, the wide tranquil bay with some terraces make holiday idyll complete. At sea, drifting as boats in the bay, a fisherman and prove his happiness in the distance you see Mountains of Java. Lovina is also the starting point for many in the early morning hours for a trip to the dolphins at sea.
Lovina from early morning until the wee hours worth visiting. Incidentally, our gardener Sam arranges trips to the sea from Villa Lovina. You ask, he sails. Also fishing is possible. And all at North Coast local prices significantly lower than prices in the South of Bali.

My breath was taken away by how beautiful the setting was, a tropical paradise with the luxury of having home comforts. The team that ran the Villa were gorgeous, at first it was a little strange having people looking after us so well, but they soon became part of the family.
Very sad to leave there but very much looking forward to our return next year.
All in all a perfect holiday that left me feeling very refreshed and happy. -

It was disconcertingly easy to rent this lovely Villa; once we had spoken to Claude everything was straightforward. His team at the Villa spoilt us terribly, and the unusual experience of having staff was made very comfortable. The huge swimming pool is integrated into the villa perfectly, and the two lovely garden pavilions and pretty well maintained garden complete a great place. Walking out along the road to a restaurant was a little hairy, but safe transport can be simply and easily arranged. Next time we will buy a local SIM card to give us a little more independence. Claude’s staff organised a number of lovely local trips, to hot springs, temples, snorkelling, dolphin watching and jungle trekking. We enjoyed the experience so much that we plan to come again next March.

A perfect ending to our 4 week Indonesian holiday. Winding down and enjoying the beautiful villa and exquisite swimming pool, being pampered by the wonderful staff and visiting a few of the many sights, dolphin watching, great massages, it was a perfect match of relaxation, pampering and absorbing the Bali culture and lifestyle. The friendly staff and helpful manager do their utmost to make your stay as you would like to be. We will, without a doubt stay at the villa when we visit Bali again, the only negative was that we only booked one week, lesson learned!
Tip: keep in mind that the trip from the airport to Lovina is around 3 hours, as the driver to stop half way for a meal or a nice drink or snack, he will know a good place to accommodate your request and it makes the trip more enjoyable. -

We stayed 10 days at Villa Lovina with our family of 6 adults. Since we arrived with an evening flight, we booked our first night in South Bali to avoid the trip during the night
after a 3 hour ride with some sight-seeing stops, we received a warm welcome from the staff. The villa is really beautiful : a lot of space , 3 nice bedrooms, large clean pool, lovely garden and clean private beach. The 2 bale benongs are very nice for relaxing, having a drink, see the sunset, enjoy a massage...
Although situated in the quieter north of Bali, there are many opportunities for daytrips and activities : the 'Lovina tour' with visits to the volcano lakes, coffee plantation, Gitgit waterfall etc, diving and snorkeling, trekking through rice fields and unspoiled nature, the unavoidable dolphin spotting with pick-up on the beach in front of the villa. Even a daytrip to Ubud is possible.
The staff is very helpful and makes it a very relaxing holiday. No worries about preparing food, shopping, washing or cleaning, and manager Nick helps whenever possible in organizing the trips.
The street noise is sometimes a bit annoying, but on the other hand the villa is well situated : a walk to Lovina by the beach is very nice and not too far.
We can certainly recommend this villa, it's an ideal way to spend your holidays in Bali.

Stayed two weeks at Villa Lovina with my family. Booking went smooth in direct contact with the friendly owner.
The trip to Lovina from the airport is 3,5 hours though the mountains, which makes you arrive quite exhausted but the wow factor of the villa compensates it all. Food was ready waiting for us when we arrived in the middle of the night.
Staff is very friendly and arranges everything you ask for. Shopping washing, cooking, booking trips, etc.
The accommodation is great with plenty of space for 6 grown-ups and it is fully equipped for small children as well. The pool is just lovely and the garden is a great retreat. The house it self is clean and nice.
The villa is located close to a busy road so sometimes the noise can be heard. The beach is of black sand and coral so swimming in the sea is not ideal. The people walking on the beach selling stuff can be quite annoying, better just walk away instead of try to be friendly.
We had great trips like snorkling, dolphin watching and site seeing. The tourist centre of Kuta is again on 3,5 hours drive.
