This 19th Century former coach house in the village of Lowick has been lovingly and carefully converted to give a high standard of accommodation. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The Coach House was definitely one of the best cottages we have stayed in, and we have stayed in quite a few over the years.
There is very little the owners haven't thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible and a much appreciated welcome pack was there on our arrival.
We loved the garden room and during the summer months it would compliment the garden patio wonderfully.
Kitchen excellent with everything you need (non-stick frying pan would be good though) along with comfy beds for a good nights sleep. The on-suite bedroom on the ground floor was lovely with a great walk in shower and made my wife and I feel we were staying in a bungalow.
Peaceful village location, which had a great community spirit (haloween witches decorating the main street during our stay).
Couple of minor gripes...didn't care much for the dull throws on lounge sofas and a wee bit of painting needs to be done on woodwork above the upstairs bath in particular.
All in all...a lovely place for a great holiday. -

This cottage ticked all the boxes. Excellent welcome pack, comfy bed and all mod cons. It was great to have a dishwasher and Sky TV including sport (my husband thought this was wonderful). The location is perfect for visiting Lindisfarne, Bamburgh and alnick. We are all castled out! We would thoroughly recommend this lovely place to anybody.

Quality accomadation, with a lovely welcome basket of goodies.Met by owner, with offer of assistance at any time if needed.
Local amenities very good and varied, suitable for adults and children, especially the miniature train, very close by.Good food and atmosphere at local pub, and very helpful local shop/tea rooms.

The Coach House is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in it was very comfortable clean and well equiped.
The owner welcomed us with a fantastic welcome basket which we were very grateful for because our Tesco online delivery with all our provisions for the week did not turn up until the following afternoon.
We have visited northumbria before but still found lots to do. -

A most enjoyable stay. The cottage was perfect in every way. The welcome pack was one of the best we have received. The location was quiet and tranquil, perfect to get away from it all, but well situated to visit all the tourist places.
The owners made sure we were settled in but then left us alone. -

Comfortable, well equiped, plenty of space, dog friendly, extensive welcome pack. Only complaints, wish we had had a cleaning service after a week, clean towels, sheets etc and refreshment of basics. Also recognise that external maintenance needs to be done, but wished we had been warned that painter would be peering through bathroom window.

From the moment we entered the door we knew our stay was going to be 5*. The cottage was so well equipped and so comfortable definitely the best cottage we have stayed in. The welcome parcel was a lovely surprise. Sky is a real bonus. Ideal location for visiting all areas of Northumbria. The barn at beal is a wonderful place for morning coffee with its stunning views over Holy Island.

A lovely, comfortable house with plenty of space, The Coach House has been
beautifully and thoughtfully designed to cater for 6 people - and welcomes
dogs too. It feels like a home from home, with a fabulously equipped kitchen
and cosy living room. The extra sitting room was really useful too. The two
upstairs bedrooms were full of character, with plenty of storage, and
beautifully decorated, and the downstairs bedroom had an ensuite bathroom,
which we enjoyed. The owner left a lovely welcome pack, which we really
appreciated. We loved the cottage and its well equipped garden. The Coach
House is perfectly situated on the outskirts of a quiet village, just a few
minutes from the coast and the National Park inland. I really hope to stay there
again. -

An excellent cottage. We loved the character of the cottage mixed with an excellent standard of facilities; lovley bathrooms and kitchen. The big open plan space made it ideal for a family holiday. Very reasonably priced for the standard of accomodation. Would recommend to anyone!
