CASA CENAMI is ideal for 2 couples. Located in the heart of Lucca's historic district. Step outside the front door and in less than a minute you're sipping a cappuccino in Piazza San Michele, window shopping on the stylish Via Fillungo, sipping wine in the 2nd century BC anfiteatro, listening to nightly operatic arias, gazing at the striking golden mosaic facade of San Frediano, photographing panoramics atop the Guinigi tower, delighting in the tastes of the countless wonderful Lucca restaurants, or taking an afternoon stroll, bike ride or jog around the 16th century walls encircling Lucca's centro storico. At the end of the day, return to the comfort of Casa Cenami where the thick walls keep it cool in summer and warm in winter.

Our flat is a two level apartment on the 2nd floor of an historic, well-cared for building. All the charm of past centuries such as beamed ceilings and hand-crafted Lucca floor tiles have been maintained but coupled with modern comfort and convenience. We provide free wireless so you can share your experiences with friends and family back home. An additional bathroom w/shower was added upstairs in 2011 to allow a bathroom & shower for each main bedroom. A gourmet, fully equipped gas stove kitchen allows you to try out local produce and products. The two bedrooms both have a queen size beds and a small twin bed is off the upstairs bedroom. Antiques we purchased from Lucca's monthly antiques market outside our front door adorn the space but comfy couches allow for quiet afternoon naps. There's a washing machine, iron & ironing board upstairs. All linens and towels are provided.

Lucca is the ideal location. You can fly into Pisa and in 30 minutes by bus you're in Lucca. Or take the train or drive to Florence in under an hour. Public transport gives us access to the famous Cinque Terre region, medieval Sienna & other Tuscan hill towns, sunbathing on the Mediterranean coast, or skiing and it's all within a hour or two.
