The Villa Anna is a very elegant, liberty style, detached villa, of the beguinning of the 1900's. It has just been restored, with all modern comforts but still maintaining it's original beauty and is very spacious and comfortable. It has 5 bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. There is a separate toilet with wash-basin. It is set on two floors and has a very large terrace (provided with table and chairs)and a private garden with a gorgeous gazebo for guests to enjoy.

GROUND FLOOR: Gate entrance to garden (which surrounds the whole property), bright entrance hall,elegant sitting room (with antique furnishing),spacious... living room with TV,small toilet,double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with shower box),elegant drawing room, spacious dining room connected to a beutiful, large, fully-equipped kitchen, with access to the garden and a medium size utility room. The kitchen is great for cooking classes!

FIRST FLOOR: Spacious hall-way; double bedroom which opens onto a huge terrace provided (60 square metres) with garden furniture (for sitting and enjoying the sun) and ensuite bathroom (with bath-tub); two twin bedrooms, one open onto the large terrace and one with another private little terrace, both with ensuite bathrooms (with shower boxes); double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with shower box); small hall-way with wardrobe.

The Villa Anna is very well positioned in an area called Sant'Anna, about 1 km away from the city walls and historical centre of Lucca, easy to walk or cycle to. Supermarket, grocery stores, bakeries, cafes can all be reached within a 2 minute walk and are all located along the main road which leads to the city center. Sant'Anna was the area where the noble families decided to build their "outside the walls" villas. WHAT in the NEARBY
In the Villa Anna’s nearby you can find everything you may need.
You are located along Viale Giacomo Puccini.
About 500 metres away from the villa you find a very big supermarket named COOP. It is one of the most convenient and the quality is very good. I often go there to buy vegetables, meat and fish.
Before getting to the Coop you find the very good fish store IL MERCATINO DEL PESCE to buy fresh fish and also to eat (only lunch time) very good fish dishes.
To get to the Historic centre you leave the villa, turn left and walk or cycle straight on until you get to the citys’ walls. It takes you aorund 10 minutes... always straight on from the villa along Viale Puccini to the main gate called Porta Sant Anna. Once inside the Porta Sant Anna you are at the square named Piazzale Verdi where you find the BUS STATION on your right and side a big INFORMATION OFFICE on your left.
Before getting to the city’s Walls along the Viale Giacomo Puccini you can find everything you may need: groceries, bakeries, ice cream post office, banks, bar and cafè...
I suggest you to try:
Ice cream at LE BONTA’ (opposite side of street)
Bakery: MIRO’ (opposite side of the street)
Breakfast: PASTICCERIA BELLUOMINI (same side of the street)
Roasted goods store: IL FAGIANO (opposite side of the street) .. so you don t have to cook.. only eat!
Hand Made Pasta: LA SFOGLIA D’ORO (in front of the church - 500/600 metres away from the villa) and I also suggest you to try a breakfast in the pastry nextdoor!
For those who are willing to learn a little bit of Italian.. in front of Sant Anna Church.. a few minute walking from/to the villa ...there is a very good Italian school for foreigner.


In front of the Villa there is the Bus stop to go to the Train Station - You buy tickets at the bar (still in front of the villa), and you can take the bus number 3, number 5
... to get ot the train station in a while.

PRICE per WEEK:
2000 EUROS per WEEK

Weekly Rate includes property rent, agency fee, taxes in accordance to Italian law, bed linen, bath towels, hot/cold water, final cleaning, electricity, gas fro cooking, internet Wi-Fi, bikes and final cleaning.
Electricity and heating is extra and metered upon usage.

Payment Details:
20% deposit upon booking.
Balance upon arrival - Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

  We stayed in this wonderful villa for almost a week in May this year. We were made very welcome on arrival and were given excellent information regarding local facilities: shops, bars, restaurants, etc.
  The villa itself was very comfortable and so much room! We tended to go out during the day and explore the lovely walled city of Lucca - lots to see and do there. the bikes from the villa were well used.
  At night we cooked a meal and the crowd (10) od us sat round the big dining table and ate the good food and drank the local wine.
  The only problem we had was trying to get the gas on the oven to work but the owner of the property came over quickly and showed us that we had not turned the main switch on. All in all a great holiday.

  Wonderful villa

  There were 6 adults and 3 toddlers in our family. The house was perfect. All bedrooms with nice full baths, lovely and large kitchen / dining area and nice garden area. The walls are an easy walk from the villa and the local area has plenty of local shops and a supermarket just a short drive away. The air-conditioning in august was a plus. Debora was a great help and help us arrange several activities. If we come back to Lucca for another stay we would stay here.

  From my first enquiry to the end of our week's stay everything about our accommodation could not be faulted. An exquisite villa with everything you could possibly want. The furnishings and appointments were excellent and we would come back without a minute's hesitation. Would highly recommend to anyone. A fantastic experience.
