A contemporary lakefront Vermont cottage nestled in the pines offers views of the lake from the large deck. The cozy 1400 square foot home centers on a wood-accented cathedral great room. A stone fireplace provides warmth on a cold winter evening. A fully equipped galley kitchen extends from the great room. A full bath complements the master bedroom with its queen bed. Other bedrooms include one with a double bed. Another has a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a twin on the top. The 90 foot waterfront has a grass lawn from which one can swim or go boating on the paddle-only lake.

The cottage is located in the heart of the Green Mountains of Vermont, two miles outside the town of Ludlow near Okemo Mountain Resort. Winter sports abound at Okemo. One can choose among alpine skiing with 119 trails at the family-friendly Okemo Mountain, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and ice fishing. Killington, Stratton, Bromley and Magic Mountain are within an easy drive. In the summer swimming, boating and fishing are to be enjoyed on Lake Pauline. For the more adventuresome kayakers and canoers, the Chittenden Reservoir, Lake Bomoseen, Lake Champlain and the Connecticut River are an easy drive from the cottage. In the spring, summer and fall, hiking trails for all abilities are to be found in the surrounding Green Mountains. There are easy trails to Buttermilk Falls and the top of Okemo Mountain. The Appalachian Trail and its network of connecting trails are a short drive from the cottage. The top-rated Okemo Valley Golf Course is one mile away. Killington Golf Course, Green Mountain National Golf Course and Tater Hill Golf Course are all within a short drive. Children can enjoy the newly installed Adventure Zone at Okemo Resort. The town of Ludlow still retains its character as a New England mill town but with modern amenities (supermarket, drug stores, post office, library, etc.). The art galleries and small shops along Main Street complement the restaurants and cafes.
