This lovely townhouse for two people is a delightful mix of 16th Century and Georgian architecture and is situated in the heart of Ludlow's old town. 24 Mill Street offers stylish and unique accommodation for 2 people, making it perfect for couples looking to spend some time together. Exposed beams and oak floors add to the cottage’s already-individual character, which is an attractive blend of 16th Century and Georgian architectures. The courtyard garden is sure to delight, having won the 2004 Ludlow in Bloom Courtyard competition and it is certainly an ideal spot in which to enjoy some alfresco dining in the summer months. The local... shops, pubs ad restaurants are only a sort walk from the cottage and you are well-placed to visit Ludlow’s castle.

Amenities: Central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV, video, DVD, Hi Fi/CD player, WiFi. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Welcome basket provided. Roadside parking (free of charge 6pm - 8am, £2.20 per 3 hours at other times). Numerous car parks available in Ludlow (nearest 5 mins walk). Courtyard garden with garden furniture - winner of 2004 Ludlow in Bloom Courtyard. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pubs and restaurants 3 mins walk. Note: This property is unsuitable for very young children or those with mobility problems, as the stairs are steep. Note: Parking restrictions do not affect loading/unloading outside the property.

Town: Ludlow is a lively and unspoilt market town, located on a cliff above the picturesque River Teme in south Shropshire. The town centre's is both ordered and elegant, standing as testament to its 900-year history. Originally a Norman town, Ludlow is filled with fascinating architectural pieces, including its famous castle, church and many medieval and Georgian buildings. The town is bordered by the stunning Welsh Marches, which acts as the border between England and Wales; an area of unforgettable and varied natural beauty, which is full of hills, valleys, castles and characterful villages and towns. From Ludlow it is only a short journey to experience the delights of Shrewsbury, Shropshire's capital. In addition, the cathedral city of Hereford; the south Shropshire hills such as the Longmynd, Caer Caradoc, the Stiperstones and Wenlock Edge are only a few miles away.Read more

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Exceptionally well equipped cottage with a very welcome basket of 'goodies' waiting for us on our arrival. A very attractive renovation of a cottage about 300 years old, situated in the centre of Ludlow perfect for site seeing. There was masses to see in the area and we were busy the whole time. Local eating places were excellent and everyone was very friendly.
  We liked the quirkiness of the cottage but found the shower merely a trickle!

  This is the first time I have visited Ludlow and I loved the old buildings. The house was very comfortable, is right in the town centre and gives easy access to all there is to see. I don't drive, so it was great having the rail station nearby making it easy to visit the surrounding area. This is my second booking with you - thank you Sykes for your help and great service.

  We have been in many cottages over the years but this one was the best appointed cottage we have stayed at. There was a welcome basket with lots of goodies and there were lots of extras like shower gel, shampoo to make us feel welcome. Cottage location is superb and nice neighbours made our stay memorable.

  Fantastic holiday home - very, very old world but with all mod cons. Warm and comfortable and with everything provided that you could want. Owner left us a superb 'welcome' basket, full to overflowing with really good quality goodies!! Clean, comfortable and homely and we hope to return in the near future!!
