This beautifully restored farmhouse is situated in the quiet rural countryside of central Galicia in Northern Spain. We are 20 minutes from the world heritage site of Roman Lugo, 45 minutes from the regional capital of La Coruna, 1 hour from the pilgrimage town of Santiago and 45 minutes from miles of beautiful beaches. It is 5 minutes by car to the local village of Rabade where there are several restaurants and bars. For relaxation there are several nine hole golf courses and some beautiful luxurious spas, a nature reserve set on a lake which is perfect for bird watching and even a prehistoric village, all within a 15 minute drive. The guest house is situated in a quiet, beautiful, rural farming community. There are lots of short walks on quiet roads and tracks around the house. We are 20 minutes from the world heritage site of Roman Lugo, 45 minutes from the regional capital of La Coruna, 1 hour from the pilgrimage town of Santiago and 45 minutes from miles of beautiful beaches. It is 5 minutes by car to the local village of Rabade where there are several restaurants and bars. For relaxation there are several nine hole golf courses and some beautiful luxurious spas, a nature reserve set on a lake which is perfect for bird watching and even a prehistoric village, all within a 15 minute drive. It's an ideal base for discovering the whole of the region. There is very little public transport and evn taxis can be hard to come by so you need to have a hire car.
