Villa Sereni is a large, modern, contemporary, 3 bedroom villa situated on the Eastern bank of Lago Maggiore in the Italian Lakes region of Italy, with stunning views across the lake. Set in a quiet hamlet, this luxury holiday home sleeps 6-8 and is set over 3 floors. The property is south westerly facing with over 120 m2 of interior living space, 3 large balconies and a teak-decked terrace.

The villa is located within a 5 minute drive of the lakeside and only 3 miles north of the bustling lakeside town of Luino with its wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Less than 5 miles from the Swiss border, the villa also provides eas...y access to the Swiss towns of Lugano and Locarno. Lake Como is a one hour drive and trains run direct from Luino to Milan in an hour.

You enter the property on the ground floor where there is a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area. This leads out onto a teak decked terrace with stunning lake views. Up one flight of stairs, there are 2 bedrooms - one double bedroom with private balcony with lake view and one twin bedroom with views to the countryside - as well as a modern family bathroom. Up another flight of stairs there is the fantastic master bedroom with kingsize bed. This has a large ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, his and her sinks and bath. There are two balconies on this floor, one with lake views and one with views to the hills.

The property is fully equipped with all the mod cons guests could wish for including 3 flatscreen TVs, Blue Ray DVD player with DVD library, BOSE docking station and XBOX games console with selection of games. There is also a brand new Nespresso coffee machine in the property. (Please note: Guests are advised to purchase their own Nespresso capsules ahead of their stay as there are very few outlets near the villa selling Nespresso products).

We have gone to great lengths to make the property family friendly, providing a travel cot, highchair and pushchair all free of charge. There is also a selection of toys, board games and childrens DVDs.

The property shares with three parking spaces with the neighbouring property, Villa Caruso. The driveway down to the villa is very steep. As a result, if guests prefer, they can also park on the main road at the top of the hill.Read more

The village of Dumenza is about a mile from the villa. This is a traditional Italian village with small supermarket, village store, newsagents and pizzeria. Less than 5 miles from the Swiss border, the villa also provides easy access to the Swiss towns of Lugano and Locarno.   This place was as a homecomming for us, a luxuries place to stay. Nice in the mountans near the village Luino. Cllose to the lake Lago Majore. A central place to make a day trip to Milaan or to Lugano.
  
  The apartment is situated on a steep hill and is almost surrounded by woods, but even so you have got a clear view to the lake. Besides the villa there is a stream of mountain water that gives you the feeling of rest and nature. The villa is modern and well equiped a dischwaser a oven and even a Nespresso and a bose sound system for the ipods from the kids, for the kids there was a game console with enough titles to play.
  The batrooms are big and have got all luxury you would want. The only thing what was a bit difficult the first two days was the driveway to the villa this is a steep hill and as we come from a flat country (Netherlands)I had to learn how to climb this hill with the car or the car had to learn it!
  In the period that we where here the weather wasn´t very well so we had to make some trips, we did milaan what was ver good to do. It took a bit more then an hour. Lugano in Switserland was also almost an hour the roads are narrow but very well maintained.
  
  For the organisation Bookings for you, only respect a very nice way of communication, straigt forward answers, even the pictures that are on the site are true no Photoshop or other ways of enhanced pictures!! what you see on the site is what you get!!
