When we booked the trip we thought we'd do a lot of travelling throughout Nova Scotia. However, Lunenburg was such a wonderful town that we spent 80% of our time there. For a place with so many good restaurants and shops the town still maintained the feel of a "real" place, true to its heritage. Our cabin was a few miles outside of town, was well appointed and offered amazing sunrises and sunsets. We also got to see the Milky Way and stars from horizon to horizon for the first time in 50+ years.
We could not have been more pleased with our stay.
