      secluded, gorgeous and charming

Left on 04/01/2013 for a stay in October 2012

The photo I attach is of some local flowers, which remind me somewhat of the vast canopy of clustered stars above our heads when we sat out at night at your house - that was stunning! and when the full moon rose like a ripe fruit floating to the surface, it flooded the landscape with silver light the whole night long.

The air was cooler - less oppressive - than at a lower elevation and latitude where we went later to stay near Teulada. And Teulada's various types of carnivorous insects were not out in force.

Your house is secluded but perched high with gorgeous views.

We were delighted with your ad hoc and creative decorations, and found the house well equipped where it mattered: a proper coffee machine; a proper chopping knife.

I guess if I were to change anything it would be to add a few herbs in the garden, wifi in the house (or perhaps that's not such a good idea) ... Can't think of anything else.

The coast near your house is also fascinating (Mt Russo), as well as classic beach territory. Your guidebook of instructions made a critical contribution to our enjoyment of this landscape.

Of course it was gratifying to encounter a couple as charming and interesting as yourselves. You speak excellent English.

We wish you every success with your business and hope perhaps to return some day - to experience different adventures.

      Excellent house in beautiful surrounding

Left on 03/21/2013 for a stay in August 2012

The house is well equiped, very clean and is located in a beautiful surrounding. The view from the terrace to the mountains is excellent. Because the house is lonesome it is very quiet and in the evening some animals are visiting the garden (fox, cat, gecko, ...). The hirer are very nice and cooperative. You are getting some very helpful tips about the island which you won't find in a travel guide. The property is really huge and with hammock and a rock to climb a paradise for children, too. Above the rock the view is even more fantastic. I would come back at any time.

      Lovely rustic country retreat

Left on 03/17/2013 for a stay in September 2012

The location was perfect: out of the way enough to be quiet and private but within easy reach of beaches. Warm welcome, very clean and comfortable accommodation which has been nicely furnished and decorated. Local information provided was really useful (top tip - local fresh pasta!). Only reason 5 stars not given is the problem of disposing of refuse which is an Island issue really.
We stayed for a week; however, so much to see and do in area could easily have stayed for 2.

      disappointing

Left on 03/12/2013 for a stay in July 2012

A property whose price is far too high compared to the benefits. We use for years "Homelidays" and this is the first time that we request a deposit check. The owners have not always been very accommodating to schedules yet the site remains beautiful and nice house.

Thank you anyway for sending a review, it is very important for us. Nevertheless if we had known your opinion before, we would have found a solution for you to feeling better during your holidays.
About the request of deposit, it is a standard method, approved by Homelidays and Ownersdirect.
Thank you for leaving the house in a very cleaned and proper condition, that we noted in our book after your departure!
